Wiseblood 24,637 Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Pretty good this week joeboy. I think you're a little harsh on Jetta, only because I think him being unsighted is a good thing. It means he's playing his role down back and doing it with minimal fuss. Otherwise it's pretty much spot on from the snippets and highlights I've seen and read. 2 Quote

deanox 10,070 Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Omac- Strong and Dependable Punched well, bodied well, I thought he played well. Frost - Disposal lets down Used his pace well and strong in the air but very sloppy by foot. Hope he improves in this area because I'm a fan. 6 Quote
—coach— 3,496 Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Frost is really bugging me at the moment, he does all the hard stuff well, then kicks it with pinpoint accuracy to the opposition. 3 Quote

But I am comforted by the fact the Frost can get back to the goal line to pressure a certain goal. He will improve with continuity and faith. More important than that is Frost is essential to our team that presses, yet needs to get back to goal when the opposition cut through. Quote

WORTH ONE MILLION Garlett - clever but limited. NEED HIS SPARK Neal-Bullen - scoreboard pressure only. GETS EASY GOALS. Spargo - energy and anticipation. BUILD A BODY Hannan - little to excite. ATM Lewis - some important touches. MAKES BASIC ERRORS Melksham - better second half. AGREE JOE BOY Oliver - genius at work. NOTHING TO ADD Petracca - quicker ball delivery. TRUSTING HIS STRENGTH Fritsch - rarely wastes possessions. HAS LONG ARMS Vince - played his part. VFL Brayshaw - career best game. ROOS WAS RIGHT Frost - confident and strong. WE NEED HIM Gawn - dominated the air. SIR PAST GRUNDY? Harmes - playing important roles. STILL NOT SURE Hibberd - safe and important. BETTER THAN LEVER Jetta - was rarely sighted. DID HIS JOB (AGAIN) Kennedy -Harris - deserves another game. ANOTHER UNCONVINCING HYPHEN O.McDonald - loose and unconvincing. DID HIS JOB Salem - rebounded with aplomb. REACHING NEXT LEVEL 1 Quote

The Chief 697 Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 Bernie has been a great contributor during tough times, but he’s rapidly declining now. Lack of an obvious replacement at Casey is his best hope for continuing this season. What’s his contract situation next year? Quote
dimmy 1,308 Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 I have not been a great fan of Frosty, but have never ever doubted his efforts. He has been better since returning because he provides abig strong bloke ib defence. However his disposal does leave a little bit of improvement. Maybe we learn to use his good points and cover for any deficiencies 1 Quote

Applaud your 3 word analysis with the rest who aren’t quoted. ?? Mine on these:- Jones - perhaps his worst Vince - kicking was inefficient Frost - doesn’t think ahead Hibberd - Few deplorable/costly decisions JKH - One good tackle. (Fullstop!) Oscar - Only one error 1 Quote
Dr.D 1,771 Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 Jones - Was quite quiet Hogan - presented and converted T.McDonald - could've kicked more Garlett - converted but quiet Neal-Bullen - a slight slump Spargo - a handy inclusion Hannan - often goes missing Lewis - great and terrible Melksham - important opening goal Oliver - showed kicking skills Petracca - working through slump Fritsch - 2 bad misses Vince - played his part Brayshaw - got brownlow votes Frost - size and speed Gawn - clearly surpassed grundy Harmes - why the haters? Hibberd - safe and important Jetta - battered and bruises Kennedy -Harris - great tackling display O.McDonald - always scares me Salem - elite foot skills 1 Quote
