We need Hibberd playing Hibberd's role. He's in AA form.

For some reason Pedersen makes sense, has played there before, good in the air, big body, reads the play well and in form. On form alone he deserves a go and this may be his calling

Well at least we have some options depending on opposition picked; Frost, Hunt, Smith, Pedo, Tyson, Bugg, Wagner, Stretch, Dec and probably next year Petty and Baker.  Each of those can fill in here and there depending on needs.

We could always elevate Lynden Dunn from Casey.  He might relish a crack at finals footy.

What???

Is it too late to get Jeremy Howe back?

And lose nearly 3 goals a game and massive two way running from the wing back plus a great contested mark inside 50?

If we are to maintain potency on the scoreboard and winning form i would not be putting T-Mac back for all the tea in China.

Would rather have Weid try and fill lever's role.

From bad to ridiculous! Frosty is the go once again.

For the Filth, Frosty and Pedo in, drop Vince, rest Harmes.

Good one, he is the man with Frosty nearby for the clearances. Wagner can also contribute to this defensive drive. Vince can be rested, so can Harmes (a little stray for the Doggies game) and play Frost/Pedersen with Wagner and a crumber.

Any news?

On game day they said he’s had scans but it’s not clear cut yet, there is some hope, but only a little imo

Jack Watts can play down back. Might be the making of him.

Fingers crossed that it’s just a partial tear

So who replaces lever?

I hope it’s not as bad as it could be but if the worst it just means we have to deal with it. We won’t be a great side if we can’t deal with these kind of setbacks. We have the depth and talent to cover.

Unbeleverble....

If that was an intentional pun and not a typo, ???

You never know. Sometimes teams lose their superstar backs to non-contact ACLs and go on and win premierships.

Maybe we can offer the Philly Eagles next year's first rounder for Nick Foles, @Macca @Gorgoroth?

Pardon my failing memory, but is that the Bob Murphy story?

Should have said "superbowls"...

You've got to feel for the bloke ... wasn't even a contact injury either.  Docklands surface rears its ugly head again.  The surface is too hard and/or is a shifting surface.

Anyway,  we'll get by and Lever's absence offers a great opportunity for Keilty,  Smith,  Hunt,  Frost,  Wagner,  Petty,  Pedersen or even Weideman.  Most of those would need to be trained up for the role although a few could slot in as a make-do.

We've actually got a surprising good number of medium tall or tall players who can play down back.   Some can read the play well and position themselves well ... but, have disposal issues.  With others,  the reverse applies.

But the team is playing too well for Lever's loss to be highly impactful.  We'll still miss him of course and I wish him a speedy recovery.

Spargo or Salem, perhaps Garlett. Who do you think? Pedo or Frosty plus a crumber.

Someone mentioned Fritsch in the role......i thought that was a good suggestion. Hes a done well everywhere else hes been put and is a deadly kick.
