Easy solution Deezone.

Please stick to the title of thread!  Nice to hear what’s happening at this Camp, not all the self indulgent drivel.

Nothing happening at the Camp, and it's always good to plan vertical integration..........

Just a minor point of clarification... the Maroochydore Open Day was on 16th January in 2016, according to my iPhone pics.

AUSTRALIAN RULES: The Sunshine Coast's reputation as a pre-season destination for AFL teams has been enhanced, with Carlton to train in the region during summer. The Blues will hold an open training session on Sunday 17 December at the Maroochydore Multi Sports Complex... Richmond will hit the Complex for a pre-season training camp, where fans can view the AFL Premiership Cup at their community open session on Monday, January 22. The Western Bulldogs will host an open training session on Sunday 28 January, closely followed by Melbourne, as AFL clubs confirm they will have camps here.

Was just asking the question there seemed to be a few upset posters who couldn’t attend being on a Friday, I thought someone might have asked the club the reasoning for the Friday session, being that I live in vic I personally couldn’t care less when they have it

Yes I rang the club today. Spoke to Steph.

She said yes the open training session was on the Friday and it’s only been on the Saturday in the past due to having no Qld games in the past year. She was wrong.

The open session has always been on the weekend on Saturday. It supported by over 400 locals and Brisbane based Dees supporters.

Stephs final words were that we get two MFC games in Brisbane so my 3 kids will have to go the those games to see the players.

Poor. Very poor. Club cannot allocate one hour to loyal interstate supporters. WTF.

Love these two pics (with my imagined dialogue)

Hogan tauntingly to Clarry:  Come and get me!

Clarrie has the last laugh, somewhat sheepishly:  Take that!

Looked to me like he was saying something like: "What's the matter with you, you big [censored] cat?  I hardly touched you!!"  LOL

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.

The Demons were sloppy all day and could not stop the run and carry of the fast moving Hawthorn as the Hawks cruised to an easy 36 point win. Is the season over yet?
