This is what you can do with 22 players that are RELENTLESS. Run. Tackle. Pressure.

There is simply no more room in the game for those that dont want it 100%.

Well done Richmond. Showed a lot of heart.

Amazing team football from the Tiges. And their off-field personnel changes are well proven. A massive 10/10 for all involved.

Gotta feel for Hardwick. Resilience and Perseverance.

Now it is our turn.

Houli absolutely robbed of the Norm Smith. Dusty played well in the 2nd half, but only just.

Well that completes the set now. Every Vic club has 'got it' at some point during the AFL era except the dees! Yes i am being bitter. By 'got it' i mean showed some resolve and stood up when it counted.

Sadly this just annoys me even more in regards to the dees. Now i think back to the disgusting and embarrassing showing in the 2000 grand final...jeepers even when we were decent we didn't get it...

What [censored] is that? Martin with the Norm Smith?  [censored] off.  It is a popularity contest now, not a competition.  Has been the worst season on record.  Howe robbed of the mark of the year.  An average goal of the year.  Dangerfield gett No no votes in the last round so Dusty wins clear.  Poor one sided umpairing all year, and now the Norm Smith??

Agree Houli was brilliant. At least Adelaide will be great this weekend!

we must have the longest premiership drought now by a very big margin

I know Bulldogs were the longest but were not Richmond next?

Forgot the Blessed Saints

Thank heavens there is another team nearly as bad as us

We weren't even nearly good enough. Richmond have been consistent. We are a bit of a rabble. I could make a reasonable argument that our list is on par - on talent. But we have some ways to go. On the upside, we saw this year how far a side (Richmond) can come in the space of a season. There is no reason we cannot do that in 2018. But, as I said "we have some ways to go".

Mate we still need to go through the season where we make finals get flogged and excuse our players because  it was their first final and it was a bit tough. 2019 best case for us!

Agree, Dusty was good but he was 3rd or 4th best behind Houli, Lambert and perhaps even with Prestia.

@dazzledavey36called the Tiges as the real deal early in the year...I thought not. The Tiges are my blind spot and Hardwick is now a Premiership coach. Never thought I would see the day.

Good call 'Dazzle'...

I hope Lever doesn’t bring any of the Adelaide “fighting spirit” when he comes over.

I really think Lever is one of a handful of Crows who can hold his head up.

Can't give it to an Adelaide player but Matt Crouch was excellent in a losing team...

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
