And this has to be our recruiting model now. In the past we may have tried to pounce on anybody with even a small amount of talent. 

Now, we need to add further quality, not just more depth players. Someone like Lonie is no more than depth, therefore there is no need for him.

Aside from him being re-signed. Just thought i'd put it out there that 'On The Couch' had a table of the best pressure players in the comp and Lonie was 3rd for forward half pressure behind Neade and Puopolo and in front of Rioli, Clay Smith, Tipungwati, Garlett, Minchinton, Jed Anderson and Josh Dunkley

Not everything is as simple as 'he can't get a game for another club, how could he get a game with us' - Kent played most of the year in the VFL and will get a game with us next year and may prove worthwhile keeping. Where is Kent in the pressure rankings?

Maybe as a delisted free agent if he were to walk from St Kilda Ben Newton style. But I wouldn't trade for him.

His cousins  (Nathan & Ryan) were die hard dees supporters, not sure about Jack. Not that it makes a difference.

Hannan, while not small, is good on the pressure front and can rove and snap like a small forward. 

Also, like Vandenbergs pressure and presence when up and running, will be interesting if he regains and improves further when back from injury.
