Just cannot play against North. 8 looking tricky now. Wasn't impressed with JKH, or Trengove and Watts another shocker. Hopefully Jones and Vince back in helps next week, GWS gettable, although who knows with this team.

We will never beat that [censored] stain of a club, and don't deserve to play finals the only way this result gets forgotten is if we beat GWS, such a weak effort

I hate whinging about umpiring, as if we were good enough it shouldn't come down to that, but FMD what a disgrace!

How many times did they drop the ball cold when we had them pinned in their forward 50?

How many soft in the back calls were paid, especially for Swallow when he gets tacked and then just flops forward, dragging the tackler with him?

Etc etc e ****ing tc

The wind blew Lewis' rug off. And I didn't like what was underneath.

Scared to pick the ball up below his knees. Was a witches hat spare man in the first quarter. Then in the 3rd if he had have stood where he stood for the whole first quarter he would've stopped a Ben Brown goal. But no went to the square.

That [censored] idiotic chip up the middle that ended up smashing Hogan may just about have put a fork in us.

Of course it's not all Lewis' fault, but he's meant to be the supreme leader.

Anyway, predictable loss, easy money. [censored] that ground too by the way.

Don't want it enough .... They were letting them waltz out of tackles all day ALL DAY !

Fell in to the trap of disgusting North Football ... Those sitter missed in the first half by macca and gartlet costly.

Why macca handballed to hunt when he was in range was just silly. I honestly think they thought it would just happen today.

Guess what, it didnt !

This could be very very very costly. And not beating those scumbags again really really hurts !

A fuc$ing disgrace . Goodwin shown up today. Many sat here and bagged norf say they would tank. Looked like we tanked.

Was like watching Melbourne during the Neeld era. A disgrace.

Umpires were [censored] but once again Higgins and brown killed us. Mid field was [censored], forwards were [censored]. Not one player stood out or stood up. We couldn't lay tackles either. So [censored] off. This was our chance and we blew it.

we will not make finals! We will be known as the new Richmond and finish 9th.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhjhhhhbbbh!

Work rate and ability to stick a tackle was non-existent. We clearly expected the wind to do it in the last and then realised too late that urgency may be required. Just when you think we have culturally turned the corner games like that prove we still get ahead of ourselves. Lewis and Hibberd are paid to be experienced heads in games like this and made some crucial errors in decision, skill and application.

Never been more angry about a loss.  Cant even beat North when they are 17th and we are supposed to be fighting for finals.

There are many reasons why this loss can not be ignored. We have been fooled by yet another false dawn.

A dozen or so players today should be ashamed of themselves.  [censored] cowards.

Gutted, what a pathetic effort from so many players. When the pressure was on they went missing. no thought, no skill, not tackling, no finals by the looks of things.  As for Jessie, i am not sure he is such a loss, his contribution this year has been woeful, yes he has had injuries, many question his second efforts, i find many of his first efforts poor to start with. TMac is far better forward at this stage.

Don't wish to big note but said during the week in the Match Preview thread we'd lose & win next week... Going to script so far

I was at the game. Gutted.

Yeah their were some bad umpire calls but we didn't look like winning it.

People were pumping up ANB last week. Well let me tell you, his decision making and execution today was shocking.

Didn't see Hannan get near anything.

Hunt was quiet.

So so funny.

Took my mum for her first game of AFL footy. She said Jack Watts was sh!t.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
