The Lions are actually giving a fair account of themselves tonight against Port Adelaide. Maybe there's hope for an upset yet.

Tigers and Port losing would be an absolute gift for us.

Come on Lions, keep going, Port are soft much like Richmond.

How's that for a stage from Rance there?

Isn't there a fine for staging?

Rance loves to dish it out, but cannot take one ounce of it back. After that dog act of hitting Watts in the back of the head last year, he is the last person who should take offence when either himself or a teammate get in to a bungle for what he deems as unnecessary conduct.

Plick.

Nothing at all in the Franklin report

Yep, just goes to show how little that bald headed muppet Nicholls has of officiating a game of football.

I'll call it now - Tigers will still lose this game of footy.

So Richmodian of them.

Wanted the Swans to lose but hell schadenfreude sometimes tastes as good as schnitzel (and schnapps).

Maybe it was Gil as side henchman to Vlad who said that staging was a blight on our game and would be treated very harshly - probably still waiting for a poll to help him decide when and what will be done, if anything.

Petsonally I think a suspension could be warranted, and certainly a free and 50 should be the norm.  Would stop it stat.

Lions were looking like pulling off an upset there for a bit... We'd be playing for top 4 if they did.

We've had plenty of these gifts so far this year, but we've ended up giving them back the next day.

Let's see if we can unwrap and keep this one.

So enjoyable to be a neutral supporter and quietly laugh at all the calls of ... "BALL"... coming from Tigers supporters.

This! What is up with this!? They yell ball every time it even looks like a tackle. Bizarre!

Port are doing enough to keep the Lions at bay, but they're nothing but flat track bullies who will fall over at the first sign of a challenge.  They won't be a factor come September.

Shuey ran past the ball and bumped high. It will be careless, intentional and low impact resulting in a week for sure.

Mitchell barely got him. He will get a fine at most.

If Shuey and Kennedy both don't play, we are a big chance.

They played last year and we should've won that game by 50 points. Big chance irrespective of who's in. (discounting umpiring)

Hahahahaha!!! That was very quick, and very apt. Not sure how many will get it or find the reference, but spot on. Not sure whether to shout you a nice Heathcote Shiraz or a communion wine.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
