I can't believe BT just said Boyd is growing into a star...... he is a [censored]

He gives Dwayne a run for his money as one of the more inane and infuriatingly stupid commentators in the AFL media landscape. Just an absolute spud.

As they say in the classics ... "You make your own luck"

The Bulldogs are total-team ... our players can learn a lot from how they go about it AF.   Nothing like learning from the best.

Absolutely, mate. The best teams often push the rules to their absolute limit, but I don't like it when they cross the line and the Bulldogs for two years (like Hawthorn - ie S Mitchell) have got away with throwing the ball, more often than not.

Yep ... and it's up to the 'custodians' to knock what you're saying* on the head ... they're one step behind but it could be argued that they're certainly aware of the issue and don't care.

Luv the bell tolling afta every dog goal.......we need something Deemonic.....an eeerie harmonica maybe on the PA afta all the goals were gunna kick??...sorry that's all I got

The dogs are a good team, we will b better.

If the Bulldogs were a 5 goal better side than us last year, I wonder where we stand this year.

I have a funny old feeling we've really closed the gap on Sydney, but time will tell, as they tend to start the season slowly and hit form near the back end.

They still look a few weeks off peak form Doggies.

Jesus the commentary is appalling, every player is a superstar, gun and outstanding!!

Franklin sublime

You can tell the swans are missing a few but their depth is exactly why they're consistently a top 2-3 team.

Scintillating football from the Swans. Just wow. Franklin is still a star. He's great to watch when he's not playing the MFC.

Sam Reid 6 goals

Picken what a tackle

Jeez Alir Alir impressed me.. He just completely rag doll thr million dollar man in Boyd.

Umpiring tonight has been bleedin’ awful.

What's the idea behind the rule? Stop rushing behinds, he had plenty of time and space to make another decision.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
