Sounds like a minor tweak Cards. Problem is we have been suffering from these deficiencies for decades now in a major way. 1994 maybe the last time we looked like a reasonably competitive team in this area although my memory is somewhat hazey through the fog of so many horror years

Oliver seems to have a tag on him, good learning for him. Viney and Jones are very quiet. Garland doing OK, Trengove unsighted, Watts and Tyson rusty, skills poor. 

Funny I don't think we are playing well at all but we are still kind of in it.

Tough quarter for us.  I thought we actually controlled large parts of it, but once again the turnovers let us down and we allowed them to kick some very easy goals.

The same players who were up and about at half time continued on in the third.  If we could clean up our disposal going forward then we could have hit the scoreboard more.

Make no mistake - the Eagles are a highly talented, well drilled outfit who know their own deck like the back of their hand.  This result is not necessarily unexpected.
