GW$ getting a top 4 spot has nothing to do with us.

Whorethorn's % is the weakness

Johndemons is right swyl.

If GWS winning over North is to put them into 4th, it will be at the expense of the handbaggers, not Hawthorn. They're assured top 4, just a question of whether they're top 2 or not.

Hawthorn are ahead of GWS by 8 points. Are you predicting Collingwood to beat them and GWS caring about making 3rd instead of just 4?

If Whorethorn lose Tonight and GW$ win their game there is only 4 points in it GW$ have a far superior %

It will make the 8 Red Hot in round 23. There will be no dead rubbers.

I think I get it too. If WCE beat Adel and Coll beat Hawks. GWS could take 2nd or even 1st if Sydney also mess up.

Edit: Then Geelong will be playing for top 2 against us as well ;)

Yep. Bottom line is it's complicated.

But unless Hawthorn were to loose to the filth next week, then they wont miss top 4. This on the proviso that we beat the handbaggers and the fact the West Coke & Radelaide have to play eachother with West Coke likely loosing.

And we MUST win Sunday.

The Filth would love to beat Whorethorn. Long shot. But ya never know..

Whorethorn are getting tired...

A very average/lucky team is going to win the Grand Final this year.  While the season's been even and exciting, there isn't the high quality team or two that we've enjoyed watching for the last ten years.

Someone's gonna get lucky.

If the Swans get it you could say it was well orchestrated rorting and cheating.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
