Again, another game lost at selection as I stated before Grimes should have been an automatic in!

Someone pleeeease make Mc Veigh accountable!!

Nothing to do with selection.  A bloke also has to get dropped.  They won by 10 goals, you don't deserve to lose your spot

Definitely need more tackles and clean possesssions inside 50. Watts and Hogan have just been swarmed. Could probably use Garlett in there truthfully. Lowlights were Dawes dropping an uncontested mark causing Sydney a goal and Oliver conceding that free for sliding.

Let's be honest, Grimes and Michie would make no difference. As much as people want to whinge and complain, we are playing pretty well, Sydney are just playing better.

I'd love to see us push hogan higher and leave Vandenberg deeper as a target. He may not be a typical full forward but he isn't having a lot of impact up the ground. Perhaps we can use him deeper and use hogan and Dawes our targets 50-80 from goal

Vandenberg is completely clueless up forward. We drafted him as an inside bull midfielder who wins big numbers in the the middle. Throw him in there and get him into the game.

Him up forward is a waste of time.

Well he is more at risk of pneumonia than getting a touch today with the role he is playing.

Heeney and Franklin have a combined total of 14 tackles.

Dawes Kent Kennedy Vandenberg Hogan all combined for 9 tackles.

I seriously despise our defence. Dumb and confused the whole bunch of them except Wagner who has been a bright light this game.

We have at least an extra two talls on the ground and are trying to run it the entire way.

Understandably it's wet but if the selection committee opts to go tall, you'd think the game plan would involve a bit more kicking and trying to line up targets.

Driving me nuts!

And?

The ball had been up their end a lot more.

It's the midfield that's the issue.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
