GAMEDAY - Round 10

Geez hope it was open hand by Viney

Wines shoving Viney with a huge cheeky smile on his face

Right, so we're six goals down then, yeah?  Yeah?

Just going by the thread here.

Port are a dirty bunch of [censored]

Viney should probably try getting a touch instead of whacking blokes this game.

I read this thread before checking the scores and thought the same thing, seems like we're playing miles below our best and should still be 2-3 goals ahead given our poor kicking at goal.

Viney has got to learn to deal with the attention and contain his aggression, getting sucked in too easily and giving stupid free kicks away.

Teams will target him more over the coming weeks and if he aspires to be a top footballer he has to let that crud go and play the football.

I think you'll find Ebert had a crack at him, from behind, first.  He gave him a couple of open slaps back - not good that he gave away a free kick, but it's hardly as if he started it.

Trengrove is a complete a$@#hole

Really need to make the most of inside 50s. Too many sprays from distance while guys are presenting about 20m out. Saw it at least 3 times.

Brisbane are taking it right up to the hawks. Finger out and a win could see us jump a few spots.

Terrible camera work by Fox.

They only have the one camera and the bloke gets tired.

Ragged. Just not really clicking.

Trengove in for Kent next week. Like his intent, but his disposal ...

Bernard Vince hasnt done a lot.

Viney, Vince, Tyson, Neal-Bullen, Petracca all struggling to find it.

Kennedy hasn't touched the ball or an opponent for a quarter. Kent has had two kicks, both clangers.

We've got more than three behinds for every goal.

And yet we are in front.

The player's response to this could actually be an important moment for our club.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?
