The Poo and the Wee

too much success at our expense 1987 and 88

Essendom because of their Arrogant supporters and Sheedys use of violence for success

Posted

Another reason I hate Hawthorn is they gave Ron Stubbs the arse after 7 games

He then went back to Mornington Penisula won 3 league B and Fs

and used to Rag Doll me regularly

The Dawks.
I live by the rule that whatever makes Jeff Kennett sad usually makes me happy. Us beating them in a GF and thereby invalidating a lot of what he said about us would make my day.

Yeah a win against the Dawks for me too. Always hated them with a passion since forever. Closely followed by Collingwood by 1 point every time we play them for the next ten years. (I dont really need to say why, do I)??

Thread has reminded me that, for decades, it was ess-sa-dun I hated most & how karma sorted them out.

Hawthorn - because of their fake turncoat-supporter base.

Hawthorn and the Swans by the biggest margins, but all of them by at least a point.

Without doubt Hawthorn....the source of much pain over the years, and would signal to me we have come of age.

Hawthorn, Hawthorn, WCE & Swans, even one of these wins would elevate our expectations through the roof, until we beat one or more of these teams we will not be a contender - Go Dee's

Hawthorn, but apparently we have to beat them in a Grand Final before the Hawthorn-supporting fiancée will consider swaping. Still, besides these absurd conditions, I'll enjoy the thrill of beating them for many months.

Good Question

Its Hawthorn for me as it is for most by the posts so far.

And the Dons for beating us this year when it will be their only win.

Hawthorn, their supporters, their former smart arz players, now in the media and their smug supporters who, in the main, have never had to put up with bad times.  I have a friend who talks of bad times where they didn't win a flag for about 5 years.

Add a zero to the end of that and you've got the plight of the Melbourne supporter.

Collingwood followed by Richmond then Hawthorn. I dislike them all with a passion. Its inbred in me - when I was growing up my Dad disliked Collingwood with a passion and he passed that onto me. I have in turn passed this onto my daughter so the tradition will hopefully continue.

Hawthorn, their ex Melb coaching panel is 1 of about 100 reasons, North Melbourne, St Kilda. No, seriously, anybody we didn't beat last year.

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
