God this week's game is crucial- we win we stay in the 8- we keep the dogs from getting another 4 points clear (who have GWS next week),  then the next two weeks we have Brisbane and Port.  We could be on a 4 win streak in 3 weeks time and a genuine chance at finals.

I'd say this game coming up is our biggest in a long time and I'm getting nervous..

I hate Richmond but that's good for footy.

Hardwick lives to fight another week. Great effort, could be the first of 9 in a row.

Didn't Sydney have the ball with about 30 seconds left? How did they turn it over?

50 metre kick after the siren too!

Unfathomable stupidity, that's how. Buddy was free on the wing, but some player kicked it inside 50 to a marking contest with about 30 seconds on the clock. Lo and behold, Richmond got a favourable bounce and within two kicks they had it down to Lloyd. Longmire would be absolutely furious, there is no way Richmond should've won that.

Great, great win. Swans do not play the G well and Tigers were stiffed by the ump several times so well done.

Wow that was a great last quarter and Rance just stood up when it counted. To have the confidence to leave your opponent in Buddy to go over and intercept the ball was great.

But yeah they had the ball in there hands with under a minute to go. Instead of chipping it to buddy who was near the boundary line on his own the player just kicked it into there forward line and thats how the turnover occured.

Just having a look at the ladder. Tomorrow we have to win just to try to get 2 games clear of the teams behind us.

Rance was very impressive. Cops some stick but played with a lot of heart.

Could Richmond make finals from an impossible situation for the third straight year? I'm saying no, but Melbourne could determine the outcome to that one.

But they did..Richmond got a second life. Their kicking for goal in the 3rd quarter was atrocious

Swans should have lost by more.

Lets hope Richmond don't get on a roll. Their supporters appear from everywhere...!

The problem is they spend so much energy winning all these games in a row, by the time they make finals they are stuffed.

Pretty much, they "peak" at the wrong time. You need to start the season strongly, then have a bit of a mid-season lull when finals seem certain, before warming up again towards the end of the H&A season. Richmond just have no idea, despite tonight's win.

As bad as Collingwood have been all year, they're only one win behind us.

If the Demons are any good they will win a Home Game tomorrow...

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
