I counted 5 kicks of Wagner that missed the mark or turned over - most under no pressure. 

He needs to fix this up ASAP. Do that and he becomes a very solid defender.

That's great, But he did directly cause 3 goals by my reckoning. 

I like Wagner but he needs to fix up his disposal. You clearly disagree and that's fine.

I just think the plusses far out way the minuses. I guess time will tell. Those great tackles for me were a real highlight

He does have to work on his kicking but for a guy that has played a handful of games, Wagner is tracking very well.

It is fine now but will not be acceptable in our premiership window. Fortunately we have a number of players pushing up if josh is unable to correct this. And that is as it should be.

As much as I love Hogan kicking 7 I still have a preference for a more even spread of goalkickers. If a team drops a spare back and double teams Hogan that means that someone else is one on one and the one on one is not the oppositions best defender.

Agreed - I watched the game carefully and he was at the bottom of lots of packs - I thought his disposal was quite good.

Sometime stats do tell a story  - comparing him against  like for like footballers - inside mids   - Jones has 11 contested possessions, Jack Viney 9 and Dom 9 - and Dom's D/E was better than both of these players. This is no knock on Viney or Jones but tells me that Tyson's disposal was ok on the weekend.  ( my eyes also tell me he disposed quite well)

Both Brown and Lynch spoke about it and that he did it multiple times.

I think you're both right.  I love his contested work, his work rate, his bravery, the fact he can "kick" and he's a good size.  He does need to fix up those unforced errors.

If he does he'll be fantastic.

Watts and Hogans second halves will be unnoticed to some but i think the coaches would have been thirlled, their movement and presence created space for others which was vital to the win. When you dont set the world on fire in the first then choose sacrafice your game for the benifit of the team and play that decoy role, that really gets a tick with the coaches

Some of the hard work Tyson does in the packs doesn't amount to a possession but it stops the opposition from getting the ball out.  Have a look at the game and see just how hard he scraps and fights.

Wagner can kick the ball ok, he may make a few mistakes, but how many games has he played?

Sometimes Dom reminds me of a rugby front rower, but not as big or ugly...he's at the drop of the ball and takes the hits.

If there's something on offer he will give it out, if not he will hold it in for another stoppage.

When Hogan kicked 7 we got belted. Hogan is a weapon but sometimes he will just have to create space and draw defenders away.
