Michael Voss might be as good at the coaching caper as Bucks.

Hinkley does not seem to be having the same impact without the assistance of Walsh or Richardson.

Pies played like Neeld was their coach in the first quarter against us.

Interesting to compare the impact that Bolton has had in his 1st season or Beveridge in his 2nd season to that of Buckley who is into his 5th season and Hardwick who is into his 7th season. For mine it should just be a question of when Buckley and Hardwick are sacked.

Site Administrators

is there a possibility with the current software to put a 6 hour block on offending posters as soon as these weak ass, [censored] for tat defenses of fragile egos break out so that informative discussion of the topic at hand can be allowed to carry on unhindered. This garbage that's allowed to play out is a cancer to every discussion it invades. The rest of us aren't interested in watching these social misfits defending their little online kingdoms. We just want to talk football.

Site admin, please look in to it. Freeze the offending posters for a few hours so by the time they can post again, the discussion has carried on beyond them.

The Pies have gotten progressively worse under Bucks.  It's about time they admitted that they made a mistake and moved him on.

4th, 6th, 11th, 12th and currently 14th.  I even heard a Collingwood supporter phone SEN and raise this.  He said that Malthouse always had the team performing to the absolute peak of their potential, while under Bucks they seem to be performing at the lower end of their ability and are getting steadily worse.  I'm guessing he's ignoring the early Malthouse years, but certainly later on it's accurate.  They also discussed how Cloke is being shown up because he doesn't have a concrete structure to rely on and can't read the play well enough to know where to position himself without one.  Under Mick they were rigidly structured and it worked for them.

On the Cloke topic, I wonder if he might be at Freo next year?  He's 29, but he clearly likes a structured gameplan and Ross Lyon could give him one.  Freo are desperate for a quality marking forward which Cloke at his best can provide them.  I could see them offering him a 2 year deal on decent coin to hold down the forward line while McCarthy matured a little more.

Re GWS Vs StKilda

  1. GWS aint too bad and are going to get better
  2. We were lucky to beat them. Lucky to play them when and where we did But we did beat em.
  3. Scully is playing much much better lately and good luck to him. Works hard.
  4. Saints are fragile and eminently beatable. It will come down to which young team believes they deserve to win
  5. We will win!

I am a little worried about the Saints, i don't think their young crop is that good outside of Billings

6 unanswered goals to the Giants now. Massive problems at the Saints, they've completely capitulated in the 4th and their skills are utterly woeful.

Really have to wonder if they've topped up with the players they needed while at the bottom because Carlton, Brisbane and Essendon will be taking the lion's share from here on.

EDIT: 7 goals... Saints don't seem to bother two-way running, leaving their defence completely open for the Giants. Clamp down the game!

Cameron has been a big out for them. Scully is playing his best footy. Toby g is in great form too. Our win against them seems even bigger now.

I know we've had our fair share of stinkers but Fremantle v Carlton is worse than a school yard game of football.

Yes early days but a shocker so far. Can't work out why and how Freo have fallen so far. They were bordering on great for a lot of last season and now they are very poor. Anyone got any ideas?

A work colleague who is obviously an idiot thinks they're going for the wooden spoon so they can trade the pick to us for Hogan.

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
