Yep, Manchester City is a bridge too far, but I think Mooy is good enough to be a regular for a premier league club outside of the big 4 or 5.

Would love to see Rogic get fit and have one more huge year at Celtic. He has shown many flashes of brilliance this year, but just can't get the continuity with his fitness. One consistent year and then he can make the move to a decent club in England/Spain/Germany.

I have him at Tottenham any day

Toumpas playing in SANFL?/ About his level!

My no 1 can't stand player at the moment would have to be Westhoff! Can't stand him Period!

We could use him I reckon.

I'd have him at Forest anyday as well, but he is too good for the championship.

Ahh I thought you were being humorous considering how much Picket Fence loves Toumpas.

We could definitely use Westoff.

Big game Nit Nat.

Should have taken him #1.

Jack will come good JR don't worry. What shytes me is Steff Martin at the Lions for zilch along with Moloney because we took some aged hacks from Geelong. When you revisit the 2012 draft it makes you weep, apart from J Viney as a Father son it was a draft debacle, forget Wines, on today's performance how do we like Stringer taken at 5 just after the Toump at 4? How far ahead could we be now if we had nailed the 2012 draft I wonder?

Yes but then we perhaps win a couple more games and don't end up with Petracca and Brayshaw or Oliver and the Weed. I understand the angst of "we should have picked X" but it is so pointless.

We are in the best shape since the late 80's, let's enjoy it

the thought of Hawthorn winning 4 makes me physically ill, so I will barrack against them no matter who they're playing

that said, the Cats and Dangerfield can go to hell

Geelong will be flag favourites after today.

Hawthorn have some ordinary footballers out there, and some great footballers nearing the end. This could be the year they finally fall out of the top couple, but not willing to put a line through them just yet.

Gee the cats midfield is scary, especially once they add in Scott Selwood

Apart from Selwood and Dangerfield, their midfield is very overrated.

This is the worst Hawks team in 8 years.

Yet the quality of football at times today is so good it's depressing.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
