Cam Pedersen re-signs for 2016

Pedersen signs on for 2016

Just a one year contract but am absolutely delighted to see Cam available to help Jesse for one more year!

Go Dees!

Wrapped for pedo! Him and Hogan were definitely working well together before he went down with injury.

Says a lot about Dawes.

In your face Dangerfield & Hartlett. We re-signed Pedo. We win.

Definitely - they'd found some rhythm up front before Peds got injured.

He was looking sharp before he went down. A solid player when he is up and about.

Pedersen in the22 and Dawes CHF for Casey in 2016.

Good - much prefer him to Dawes. Roos just needs to put some confidence into him

Might be better to celebrate this by getting his name right.

Looking forward to seeing Peds on the field in 2016.

They will probably be heavily tagged.

Ankle bracelets at least.

It's been fantastic song how he had turned himself around after a very patchy 2013. Fully deserves an extension.

He was missed far more than many would have thought

Best 22 of our current mob, IMVHO

I would have been disappointed for him if he didn't get one.

excellent !! 1Yr deals from now on, for Pedro... although it sounds like we don't have a new experienced 2nd Ruck/tall forward likely, at this point

* I really hope we take a key tall forward this year from the draft, as well as a mid, because we sure do need future insurance for Hogan's sidekick.

Pleased with this, both that he's been given another year, and that it's only a year.

Gives players like King, Frost and Oscar Mac a bit of time to develop, and Pedersen showed that he could be useful.

Ah ... Carl (not Cam) Peterson. Yep, a bit of a plodder with the Hawks but may be good for us.

Just hope we re-sign Cam Pedersen.

Glad we locked up our Pedo for 2016!

Jokes aside, deserved IMO.

Deserves another year. Was playing some really good footy at the start of the season.

Cool now all we need is for him to repay the faith on the field next season.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
