would have to be Howe + pick 6 + 2nd round pick

Iside from injuries this bloke is a star. Possibly will have to give up 2 first rounders. Gold Coast wouldn't give him up

not for Jeager bomb W/Jack mentioned injured knees. re DP & JO'M.

O'Meara had both knees with patella tendinitis apparently was treated for such & even went to the USA for a specialist. On return this season played NEAFL, the day we beat GWS giants early season & he apparently ruptured his Patella Tendon...

don't know much about these but its sound really bad on top of his other dual tendinitis... the patella tendon as I believe holds the knee joint together. so what other issues are there inside his knee re ligaments & cartilage, etc.

its mentioned it could possibly cause a career-end scenario at worst.

I have a feeling Watts may be in the mix here. Nothing more than a hunch.

risk on risk ? watts + 2 = jo'm ?

Hypo' trade > Watts + Howe + 2nd Rnd Pick + 2016 1st Rnd pick; to GCSuns, for el Pres' & JO'M

I just don't know why GC want Howe and why they would want Watts. Howe and Watts are both quite soft, the GC need more hardness.

Maybe time in the sun cures them !

Well I got the feeling from who I was talking to that a deal for Pestia wasn't as likely, at least not while he was contracted.

Though, now thinking back on it he was saying we were heavily into both O'Meara and Prestia and the deal he was talking about was the Howe + something/someone else that was/is still being negotiated.

I highly doubt we'd come close to getting two of GCs young, talented mids - let alone one but I'm not giving up the idea.

GC would be stupid to let go of those blokes though, even for Howe+Watts or Dawes+First Round.

Just spoke to a mate who is a sports physio. He said don't be alarmed about patella tendons. According to him better injury for long term recovery than ACL's.

Then Howe will watts go?

From afl.com:

"Young also provided updates on a few other of his clients.

Gold Coast star Jaeger O'Meara was solely focused on rehabilitating his knee and being ready for round one next season, and innuendo surrounding his potential departure was just that."

Thanks for that nightmare Jesus. That gif burned a hole in my soul.

maybe the end of days for fuscias, & return to - 6 drops of the essence of terror, 5 drops of sinister sauce..... ' the spirit of checker'.

seems as though PJ & Roosy have spun a strong web, & putting some finishing touches.

{pick the characters in this little drama} & who is the big ruck?

please, wattsch that 'tincture of tenderness', oops too much.

Ok, so, by every account O'Meara is not a real trade prospect, and it is probably better to wait and see how his recovery goes next season before trying to grab him.

Next rumour.

    TRAINING: Wednesday 19th February 2025

Demonlander The Analyser was the sole Trackwatcher out at Casey Fields today to bring you the following observations from this mornings preseason training session. Training  was at Casey today. It consisted of a match simulation for one half  and then a free choice activity time. Activities included kicking for goal,  aerial , contest work etc. I noticed the following players not in match simulation Jack Viney  running laps and looks fine for round one . I think Kolt looks like he’s im

    TRAINING: Wednesday 12th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
