AFL - Round 3 (non MFC games)

Everyone though their additions of Beams, Christensen and Robinson would lift them above that middle pack.

They still have zero tall forwards and zero tall backmen. Until they fix this they will continue to struggle as their gun midfield have nothing to kick it to.

Rockliff and Hanley are massive outs for them as well

The pro-Bummer fapping in the media and especially on TV is unbearable and frankly embarrassing by those doing it. Even worse is Tim Watson commentates their games, and today none of the others in the box would say anything less than fawning about the Bummer players.

I must say that I am unable to bring myself to watch EssUndone games at all. The whole thought of them playing, and playing well, given what they have done to the whole image of the game, just a palls me. I even find watching AFL in general far less enjoyable than it was 3 years ago: naïve maybe, but I had thought that (a few or more "recreational drug users" and I hate that term, excepted) the AFL was clean and untainted by the ravages of drugs as happened particularly in cycling. I have become quite disillusioned by the whole saga. For many reasons none the least the drug business, I really hope they don't make a GF, as for the first time in my life I would not watch it.

West Coast are the biggest bunch of downhill-skiing, soft, flat track bullies I've ever seen. I can't stand the way everyone creams themselves every time Naitanui goes near it, which is probably because he only goes near it twice a game so people get excited. Hopefully Fremantle goes on with it and absolutely flogs them.

Meanwhile Gold Coast has suffered from the same issues as us yesterday - they have had their periods of dominance but weren't putting goals on the board (missed easy kicks and didn't even get shots they should have had). Geelong's now stepped it up and converted (something like 5.2 from 8 inside 50s) and ruined Gold Coast's hard work.

Melky weighted and change of angles work. Salem has his individual program. White cap (no contact), Howes, Woewodin and Sparrow

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th
