VB is the best beer in the world bar none.

Where I Grew up we had white cans( Carlton draft) blue cans(fosters) and green cans(VB).

I got weaned on VB cans and many years later I still love it.

Could never adjust to German/British/Dutch/American beer.

Could never get VB over seas for many years Export Fosters was the best you could get, which is crown larger in Australia, but know you can get VB in Hong Kong all of the big in cities in China NZ the UK and even the U.S. if you know the right people.

It's going to take over the world trust me.

VB otherwise known as Draino

I was having an aus day drink of coopers and was told this was a " Hipster" choice of libation. Does this make me a hipster? What is a hipster?

I wouldn't say simply drinking Coopers makes you a hipster, however add the man bun and/or a bush ranger beard and you could be there.

Image of man bun attached for your reference.

You are 40kg too heavy and 40 years too old to qualify BBO.

and too mainstream.

I was at the Tooborac Brewery (on the way up to Echuca) a few months back doing a brewery tour and tastings and they had just got a new head brewer, top bloke, who came from Moo, he said come back in a few months once he's settled has has the new equipment installed and he'll be trying some new stuff. Bout time for a road trip I reckon

Been there and has great potential but beers were only okay. Will visit again.

Vomiting right now after your initial comment! To quote J Mac "Surely you can't be serious?" I suppose you think a cask of dry red tastes like a Grange also?

Hmmmm Coopers, you have just a little class BBO. I think a hipster means your pants don't fall down to your knees without a belt!

You are only a hipster when drinking Coopers if you lay the bottle down before opening to let the sediment infuse.

Dont think you are smart enough to do that.Ethans IQ would qualify him.

It's the only way I drink Coopers.

I still don't consider myself a hipster though, my pants don't stop and go tight or roll up to just above my ankles.

Mmmmmm the majority of posters on this board dont consider you a hipster either.

BBO doesnt qualify because of his cheap holidays in asia's minnow states.

Real hipster's visit places such as Machu Pichu,Mexican beer factories and Scottish archeological digs.

Jazza I have done the others, but what or where are these Scottish archeolical digs? Hadrian's Wall or something? I live in hipsterville but am well past that. I ride a mountain bike I don't think that qualifies and I shaved the beard off 20 years ago. Still like to hang out in some hipster coffee places though. Are there any trendy coffee dens down at Beech Forest these days? What is the coffee blend at the Beech Cafe this week? Salvadorian or Costa Rica fair trade arabica? Just asking before I make the trip.

Wannabes like Clit and Jizz passing judgement on their social and intellectual superior. That is the result of letting anyone vote.

Don't get stuck into my mate Jazzy O. Just because he lives south of the Mason-Dixon Line and his nearest neighbour has 6 toes on each foot doesn't mean he can't have a worldly view on the lifestyle of a hipster!

Pablo is the prefered choice of coffee at the beech forest community shop and beer hall.

The digs in scotland are from the days of viking and are a favourite haunt of No1 son.

Of course for BBO,the real aussies live down this way,no pinko-lezzo hipster, pipe legged tree hugging hippies down this way.

Whereabouts in Scotland? I recall a great day long ago touring the Orkneys, where the locals would talk in a Scottish accent, but sound a lot like cartoon Vikings ...

As for hipsters, I ride a hybrid bike and wouldn't know how to be a hipster if I wanted to. Does that make me a bumster?

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc.
