The Brownlow

I am fed up with the midfielders medal. I say, let's dump tradition and have the actual fairest and best player awarded each year. Buddy must be good to have come this close, since he is not a midfielder.

Let's welcome our new perm-haired overlord...

This is so amusing

Nate Jones needs to grow his curly locks next year... and we need to win a few more games to help.

Well done to Priddis. Very pleased with Tyson and Jones getting decent votes.

Goes to show if your development & culture is right ..... Overlooked by 4 national drafts... Pick 31 rookie in 06 draft!

Our previous recruiters/ development coaches should never work again in an afl club... All those early picks.....

It's a shame our shitty end to the season took some of the gloss of what was one of the more remarkable seasons of football we've seen from a kid wearing red and blue. Take a bow Dom!

All Australian...... Nah not this year

Brownlow..... Come and get it!

Stoked for Tyson. Was it 2 or 3 BOG's? And Roos did this in ONE off-season. Bring on trade week folks!!!

So, that unnamed recruited... you wanna stand up now?

Still getting over Sheedy's "speech."

I can only assume he was told he'd be giving a talk on the way to the event/stage.

Happy for Priddis for a strange win.

Nathan Jones and Dom Tyson the 20th and 31st best and fairest players in the league. Brilliant.

Threw a cheeky fiver on Priddis at 26 bux! Thanks for comin!

Nathan Jones and Dom Tyson the 20th and 31st best and fairest players in the league. Brilliant.

Tyson a big chance to win in years to come with some help in the mids

Awsome effort Priddis! Deserved it and clearly best player in the league this year.

Well done Jones and Tyson.

Tyson a big chance to win in years to come with some help in the mids

...but... Josh Kelly will win 5 Brownlows!?!

Well done Matt Priddis reward for effort and perseverance. Also the first ever Brownlow medallist from the Sorrento Duncraig Junior Football Club where my boys play.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
