We win!

Cheers to all

Thanks to organisers

Clearly with a settled coaching set up and without recourse to any....supplemental ingredients other than guts and determination we prevailed

Good question, have we ever been beaten Rollo ?

Never in doubt and well done to all concerned.

Cheers, gsmith...

! think we have now won 13 out of 14...

We lost to sainsational about 6 years ago when we turned up with 11 players...

that's when we decided to get organised...

bomberblitz have copied our methods, so I expect their first win against us can't be far away...

Ugly, congested game on a small oval with no goal posts.

Credit to ucanchoose for dealing with each problem as it arose in his first game as organiser.

I am so happy he stepped up because it was way past time for me to pass the baton.

Credit to dinosaur rover for his inclusive coaching style, which had our blokes playing as a team by the last quarter.

The move of Leeroy and his mate to full forward in the last quarter was a match-winning move

IMO.

Credit to dazzledavey36 for his best on ground performance. It was a close call because we had so many other guys who could have won it.

Credit to our mid-field who gradually wore the talented bomberblitz guys down.

Steve the ruckman and the other guys pumped the ball into our forward line so many times in the last quarter, it would have been impossible to lose.

Credit to Wise, who played another great captain's game and is now our most-capped player (along with the Stynes Factor).

Credit to bomberblitz, who keep coming back at us, and have moved in a few short years from easybeats to respected opponents.

Happy to hear other people's views on the game.

Well done dees on another win

Pretty glad it was a competitive game this time

Steve the ruckman was best on for you guys imo although the dazzle was very good too.... when Leeroy absolutely smashed me in the middle wasn't exactly pleasant lol

Can't wait for the next one!

Very competitive game, and I still think the move to a smaller ground was deliberate as it threw us out a bit and fell straight I to their hands.

I think every player had a good highlight (or lowlight in bennys instance with 9 shots at goal for 12 points). Always good to see varying levels of footy experience "gel" so well.

Can't wait o next time.

Moving the ground came straight from the Olympic park curators mate..... Threatened us with paying for any damage caused to the turf

Great game and well done to everyone playing. Well done to the Bomber boys who continue to want to have a match every year. Keeps it alive and well.

Its starting to become a fiece rivalry now between the two teams.

Its gonna take me another two months to rehab this knee again. My left one is absolutely shot now.....

Now I know why the old fells complain and whinge lol

If anyone can Remember (or have them written) all the scores and opposition we have played (and locations) wouldn't mind seeing the evolution of the team and Compitition, plus I can't for life of me remember which I have been involved with over the 7-8 years. (2 vic park, 2 Olympic? 2 goschs and todays 5c piece)

A overview would be really great after this has begun to thrive.

That ground really was by far the smallest I have ever played on. Talk about stoppages and congestion wowee!

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the
