yes please !!! tall key swingman, 197cm ish, very handy from the little I've seen & read... imo a really good fit for our group, his size & athleticism would add a lot of what we need.

Must admit that I haven't seen much of him, although he would be an upgrade on someone like Fitzpatrick and even a potential replacement for someone like Chip. I'd hazard a guess and say Carlton, St. Kilda and the Dogs will all chase someone like him very hard and they would have the cap room to make him a very decent offer. Not saying we won't chase him or that we can't get him, just that there will be plenty of competition for his signature.

Went to school with Viney - which gives us a link. But also went to school with McRae and Hrovat - which gives W Bulldogs a link - and they need KPPs. If he doesn't go to one of the strong clubs - I reckon the Dogs would offer him more than we will

Is a Carlton supporter and they are in to him, as well as every other player named as possibly moving clubs.

I would imagine if you could get a good mid from GWS for pick 3 he could be part of the deal.

After last night he would be embaressed to run out on the field with Carlton. I like your suggestion that he be packaged up with another Tyson-type mid from GWS, especially if Frawley departs and we can utilise the compensation pick for the swap!

Likely to be at the Dogs next year. They have big need for KEY FWDS. He is target after Dogs missed Patton.

Unless they get Frawley, as per Crawford's random speculation today.

Anyway, at this point Jaksch has show very little. Jaksch it, even. But that would appear to be mostly injury-related.

All that said, the phantom draft write-ups on Jaksch are pretty stellar, and really that is all we have to go on. Much like Tyson, really.

Would take him, but not at a high price.

Can't imagine any possibility of being embarrassed to run out on the field with Melbourne.

Judd was a Melbourne supporter, once Jaksch has had a look at our facilities....who cares. He hasn't shown much to date.

Well played, sir.

Absolute no brainer. Taller, tougher version of Bontempelli and one of the best contested marks for his age that I have ever seen. The only reason he has flown under the radar is due to injury. A classic Dom Tyson scenario all over again if we can pull this off.

What's all the fuss about with this kid? All I can see with him is that he was once pick 12 and shown very little in two years. If you could get him cheap, sure, go for it. But if talking about early round picks then wouldn't you be better served trying your luck on another tall in this draft?

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w
