I think a lot of this needs to happen, Toumpas is the one of the four i'd most like to hang on to,

the highlighted line to me suggests that Ryan O'keefe would be a good chance to be picked up

Get him as a coach. No more Rodan/Brynes players past their prime.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Jack Watts go to one of the top teams, he has great skills and speed, perhaps a really good culture could get his work rate to where it needs to be to get the best out of him, Jack is a favourite of mine so wherever he is I hope we see the best of him

And yet we as a poor mans poor man, cannot get him to play like many here on this site want him to!

I dunno!

He has everything most of our list lack in bucket loads as you have pointed out!

I dunno!?

What exactly does supporter backlash at MFC look like?.

My Guess...and it would be damn near volcanic in its audaciousness..

Out with the Tyrrells Rufus Stone Heathcote Shiraz

and in with the Pepperjack......!!!!

that'd show them we're not bloody mucking around what !!

There is going to lots of drivel and waffle in the media re the draft and trades over the next few months.

Most of it will be made up by journos and commentators to fill column inches and air time and hopefully hopefully generate a headline or 2.

I really think Jack watts and pick 21 for the bulldogs pick 6 is win win for both sides

They need a forward target and they retain a good pick in a very even draft

The problem with this is that Jack Watts isn't a forward target. The Dogs would laugh in our face with this offer, even with Pick 21 thrown in. Their fans would riot at this deal.

We really dont know how any club truly views our players. Be interesting to see how it all pans out.

That's true, but could you see any feasible way the Dogs would cough up a Top 6 pick for Watts and a high second rounder? Just won't happen.

lets see how the eos pans out... Strange times ahead

Nathan Jones and Dom Tyson are the only untouchables for mine. The rest... If the price is right....

I'd have to include Viney and Hogan but other than that I pretty much agree.

Id rather backlash over losing watts then by losing games

Er, our issues go a bit deeper than the bloke in the number 4...

It really depends on how the Bulldogs rate Watts and how they rate the draft, Wattsy has played some very good games up forward against them recently so that would hopefully be fresh in their minds

and the draft has no real standouts so pick 6 might not be worth as much more than pick 21 would be in a different draft, pretty even spread of talent through the top 30 or so

Demoniac, looks like you and I are the only ones that are not being sucked in by the media clowns.

Oh please pretty much every player is up for trade at the right price. There's maybe 4 or 6 on the list who I would leave off the table completely. If we were able to get Dangerfield for Trengove and Toumpas (as an extreme example) are you telling me you wouldn't take it? Please, footy is a professional sport and players are assets. It's all about which group of 38 will give us the best chance to.succeed next year.

I think in a lot of cases a new enviorment for the players and a good pick might be win-win, I don't think many of these boys are going to make it at MFC

I agree, it does depend on how they rate him, but do you really think they will cough up a high draft pick for a bloke who has not lived up to expectations? The Dogs need talls, we all know that, but Jack Watts isn't the answer to those problems. Just because he kicked a few against them last year doesn't mean they will be falling over themselves to get him for Pick #6. I don't think Watts makes the Dogs that much better that it is worth the trade for them. Plus their fans would be seriously [censored] off with a deal like that, it just doesn't help them enough to justify it.

I might tape this one and keep an eye on the scores. If it looks like we played alright I've have a look later. If it's over by quarter time I'll be deleting it off my TV. Win/Win really.

Absolutely.

Hard. Quick. A good left foot usually. One of few goal kickers.

He won't be going anywhere.

Kent's kicking is wildly overrated on DL. I think he's got potential if he can clean up his disposal. His kicking can be abhorrent. I remember reading someone labelling his kicking as 'elite' before the start of this season. It's down right incorrect. It may be confidence with him, but at the moment, most of his kicks are floaters, while his goal kicking is 50/50.

Possibly not, i think they'd be more inclined to do the deal if Dawes was on the table and they got pick 21 as well

Would just like to throw it out there, if all this goes ahead, the banner is going to need some serious work, personally i'd like to see Nev and Dunn up there anyway considering they will both be top 5 in our Best and fairest

Tyson wasn't coming our way either by some accounts. The EOS is a strange period of enchantment. Teams get all heady and bizarre deals are agreed.

I simply await it o unfold. Sadly the most interesting time of year....still

What bizzare deals are these? The Tyson trade was a win/win - yes, we didn't necessarily expect it, but it wasn't wide of the mark. Watts and pick 21 for pick 6 is very wide of the mark.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
