Apart from destroying the morale of the playing list, Watts, Grimes, Trengove and Toumpas along with Mckenzie and Evans are all under contract for next year, if we decided to trade any one of these players and they were unable to earn the same dollars at a new club, the MFC would have to pay the difference in each case for the ensuing year and this amount would also be included in the MFC salary cap. I can assure this is not going to eventuate. Some media person or past player ( who would have no idea of coaching or list management ) waffles off at the mouth just to gain a bit of attention and the sheep follow in droves. As I said on another thread last night regarding this so called report, anyone who believe's this garbage is downright gullible. This is just mud raking by the media at it's finest. You had all better watch out as the sky may fall down.
