You can present a silly idea dressed as if it's meant to provoke thought with dot points and so forth, but it's still just a silly idea.

If anything this just reminds me that we're not the only club to have stuffed up big at drafting.

Could do a lot worse. Would be getting him for close to nothing and possesses exactly the talents we are after in a small crumbing forward who could rotate as an outside midfielder. Under Paul Roos we have ourselves Lewis Jetta mk II.

We should be redrafting Juice before we think about picking up Tambling.

I also wouldn't be against it..... Had a stellar year in the SANFL and always saw something special in the big unit. Would almost certainly provide more than Dawes or could simply come in when Clark goes down considering he is unlikely to play out a whole season. Jessie White mk II anyone :cool::cool:

Richard Tambling, eh!?!?..... speechless!

Some people need to learn inner monologue and not share every insane, psychotic, momentary "brilliant insight" with people around them.

Bahaha..

Its a football forum mate. Its better than going on about Jack Watts, Tom Scully and the fact Trengove cant get a kick.

Tambling has talent, but as most posters understand (besides you), his issues are between his ears. if one man could do it, Roos could.

Roos is a good coach but he's not some miracle worker that can turn any dud from anywhere into a top-line footballer.

O

yeah he's got enough duds already to keep him busy 24/7

That does not give me 1 micron of satisfaction McQueen.

The difference is Richmond learn't moved on and are playing finals football.

I think we need a couple mids at his age and experience but if we do get players in that age bracket they need to be good players which will lead by example.

We need quality players that can help develop our youth but also have an impact on the ground. (IMOP Rodan and Byrnes are not those kind of players).

A good list like Geelong seems to consist of two types of players youth with potential and experienced players that lead by example.

You don't build a list with mature fringe players (Pedersen).

MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
