Viney will develop his softer emotional side, just so Chuck Norris can come out of his hiding place and cease being embarrassed......

Mmmm ok maybe not, much more likely kill his opposite number with fireballs from his eyes and bolts of lightning from his arse!

Cameron Pedersen to emerge over the next 12 months to the point where no one questions his sole appearance in the 2015 membership campaign.

These are meant to be outrageous right?

God deliver me from your prediction.

It is too horrible to contemplate.

Elite kicks??

Posted

Mark Jamar to have 10 kicks in a game, at 80% efficiency, and 5 of them going at least 30 metres.

Gary Ablett to get dropped to the seconds for at least half the season.

Campbell Brown to kick himself in the nuts.

As trivial as it sounds his hard running and speed could actually be developed into something. He has all the physical attributes of Kieran Jack. And bad skills can be conquered with time and composure.

The issue I have with Nicholson is that he's soft. It's the non negotiable.

We are looking for a quality small forward. He is quick, an elite runner, and if he could improve his kicking, may be a chance.

Tom Boyd

Tom Boyd to come to us (because the AFL refused to bow to the pressure from the other 17 Clubs to not give us a PP) and next year's Coleman medal to be shared between Hogan and Boyd (both accepting the award in MFC guernseys)!

We don't need key forwards, we need gun midfielder, and a class crumbling forward. Trade our picks to get them. This is a transformative opportunity - one we will not have again hopefully for another decade or more. We must get it right.

Boyd, although clearly hugely talented, would be surplus to our requirements right at this time, but he would be hugely valuable to us as a trade commodity for one or two A-grade midfielders. We should do it, and I'm sure Roos will.

I see where you are coming from (like every other Demonlander) but don't think that our forwardline is as elite as you think. We cannot rely on first-year player Hogan to be the goal-kicking messiah and this year proved that our gun foward structure is comprised of players susceptible to injuries. Much as we need mids, there is nothing wrong with having the two hottest (& youngest) forwards in the AFL both playing for the Dees (otherwise we have a Boyd/Cameron forwardline at GWS for the next decade a la Hawthorn with Franklin and Roughead).

Who will Roos turn from spud to delicious curly fries next year ?

I'll kick off.

Pederson to become our Ted Richards.

I was thinking Pederson would become our LRT

Mitch Clark to get a metal foot-replacement. Then, if someone (please let it be Michael Hurley or Hayden Ballantyne) tries to smother his kick, he can knock their teeth out.

That's all I want.

Preferably Campbell Brown

Rohan Bail to bleach his hair ala Woewodin and take out the Chad.

If he bleached his hair he'd miss another 3 weeks with concussion.

Mark Jamar wins a hitout, and it goes to one of our players more than 3 feet away and on the move.

Jack Grimes kicks the ball forwards more than twice in a game. At least 50% hit a target.

Sam Blease plays his 3rd game in a row...

There's a zombie apocalypse, there's no food left, Tom Scully is NOT eaten by his father.

one thing is quite clear

roos was doing homework on all ,listed and unlisted players for the last 10 weeks

he is definitely ego driven like all coaches

reading posters.papers and listenening to the radio, massive amounts of trading by all clubs is about to be done,

and who put himself in the box seat for early on the ball trades, and early talks with disgruntled ,want to move home players.jumped em roosey

PAUL ROOS

theres something big happening here and all the player movements and club movements have somehow fallen our way

only prediction I can make is we are on the way ,hold on and enjoy

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

A couple of intrepid Demonland Trackwatchers headed down to Gosch's Paddock for the midweek Preseason Training Session to bring you the following observations. Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
