Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>

Wow

Like the MFC tanking claim

I wpould like to see a presumption of innocence and evidence supporting claims to be fully and transparently made to allow the innocence to be detailed.

I would not want to discredit all players allthe club and all supporters with an unfounded unsupported claim.

I would also like to see the claim and the response hanled in a quick time so that innocence or guilt can be pronounced and the club etc can get on with normal operations.

So, do we now call them Essendrug? or Essendope?

Or if the allegations are found to be true, "Essendone".

Clothier is in charge. Don't expect a quick investigation.

Sigh.

I guess if he left BECAUSE of the cheating then that's ok. Maybe.

[censored].

Just like Brock....

Could well be a quick answer on the MFC issue because of this...

The AFL will want this drug issue 100% investigated quickly.

as in 6-7 months?

Stephen Dank is not on the list of staff members at MFC (although Jason Taylor has finally been listed - National Recruiting Manager)....

He's not listed on our website as being employed by the club

This is good but it's still possible he has links to us. Hopefully not.

I would have thought the same regarding our tanking investigation. The longer it went on, the longer it festered and tarnished the game (and AFL administration).

Just listening to SEN and they are saying about suppliments taken in pre season 2012

This explains why they were so good in the first half of the season then dropped off in the 2nd half

Why would you say that???...because of one poster on bomberblitz????

But we beat them in the first half right?

Melbourne Demons - so good we can beat teams on steroids!

Sorry, alleged supplements.

Yeah, I think this is more up his alley, because he knows nothing about the game of AFL...

It's a shame it's Clothier handling this, he hasn't had much success finding evidence in recent times. I'd prefer someone that can find something that will stick in this (EFC) case. F*** 'em.

Makes a lie of the claims that the AFL are always picking on MFC.

Its actually all this is coming out and not being swept under the carpet.

And its even better that its a club other than MFC.

What I'm going to say is completely unfounded and biased, but I believe he didn't know. He seems to me to be an ethical kind of guy. Just my opinion.

If the players took supplements and signed documents with the full knowledge that they were sailing close to the wind, they should cop whatever penalties they are given if there are any at all. I'm not saying they are guilty but if they were aware of what they were doing they don't have much of a defence.

This is a bit more serious than fumbling the ball, or not playing a 17 year old, skinny recruit.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
