AFL 360 and On The Couch

Robbo is actually dominating on 360 tonight.

No he is not. He badgered Eade, who was in an impossible situation given his current job, to make himself look like an incisive hard hitting journalist. It was what the americans call a "cheap shot". He is a dead seat lightweight.

I'm thinking Roosey is still an 85% chance and based on what he said or didn't say during that segment On the Couch MFC would be negligent not to approach him with every thing they have.

After seeing Roos just now, he's not a definitive no.

I reckon he is toying with idea, and has quite possibly already been sounded out to do the job.

Would be an unbelievable appointment if we could get him.

I don't think any previous coaches like Roos, Mathews Eade etc will put their hand up while there is a coach in place at a club.

But once the incumbent is no long in place the game changes.

That is not to say Roos will announce he is available, I just think that he will stop saying NO in public if he has any interest.

I agree with this, & think this is a part of it... especially Roos, would not do the dirty.

Would be HUGE RD.

Roos started to say in regards to wanting to coach the dees "no at the moment I" and then MS cut him off and said no not at the moment Roosy which Roos then replied "i am the opposite to Rocket who has the desire to coach I don't"

Was not very convincing when u compare his response to Bombers which was NO I will not coach Melb but maybe we are all looking for something which possibly might not be there. Hope I am wrong.

Would love Roos to coach us.

Time will tell.

I honestly think Roos is more then happy just being a hardcore Swan supporter in which he is and that's fine. I think the way he see's it is that couldn't see himself ever coaching against the Swans.

I agree 100% with you.

I'm not convinced that Roo's doesn't want to coach MFC.

One thing I've noted about Roo's this year is that he is big on American sports, loves his basketball and doesn't get into Watts like most do, he has time for him.

Now, Jack Watts was obviously one of Australia's best up and coming talents at basketball, that is no secret and Roo's obviously thinks he can turn Watts around.

Roos has stated in the past that MFC have A LOT of talent and I am sure Roo's sees our list like some optimists here do - I am one, I think we have great talent going forward.

If I were Roo's, I'd let PJ know that I will take the job on the condition that the board is sound and the AFL allocate MFC a Priority Pick after our first round pick.

On the couch Roos had a chance to say NO I do want to coach Melbourne.....but he balked at the question and left the door open in my opinion... i reckon he is willing to be approached at the very least...

Robbo not happy with Beamer about his 'Karma is a bish' slogan.

They reckon PJ is one ruthless SOB.

PJ reckons players want out of our club and decisions had to be made for that - and membership, etc.

This. Thank God PJ has come in.

Roos's arrogance will get him to the dees.

Loves playing the "savior".

I agree. I don't really rate his as a development coach - he basically took over a side that had already made a grand final under Rocket. But he is like Malthouse - will keep going until he fails and realises he is fallible.

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
