He was much better when feeding the ball out of congestion, as a defensive forward he looked lost IMO.

Yeah as has been said, he played the second half of the season to limited success. Although he is relatively competent over head, he just lacks any quick sideways movement so isn't dangerous as a small forward. Love his hunger and intensity he just needs to gain some pace and agility if he is to be part of this side moving forward

He is a good hard player wiith a strong player. Give him a full pre season with a good understanding of what it takes to train at this level and then judge him. every player that makes the afl has talent, you just have to work hard to be a player.

I think (hoping) that neeld gave him some roles this year to get a feel of the game and will unleash him into the midfield next season. If this isn't the case I'm really not sure why he drafted him. He's hard and a clearance machine.

He was at his best early in the season as a strong bodied mid: Neeld may have 'sacrificed' his game a bit by trying him elsewhere, in what after all was an experimental season.

One shouldn't be surprised to see him back in the midfield after another strong body building preseason.

I will discuss. Had him in my supercoach all season. Kept him because because he was there. To be respectful the guy has all the heart in the world but is out of his depth He tried his outmost. Already have Mackenzie. Got to be a limit especially if we want to head north on the ladder.

I think his time would be better spent in the role he played in his first few games when he was getting 30+ possesions, who cares if a few of those are a bit wayward? yes he is a decent tagger but he is a better ball getter!

He went from a ball winning machine in the first 2 rounds (and the preseason) to a defensive midfielder/forward to a sub and then to out of the team. I think Neeld definitely made a mistake in where he placed him. Should've freed him up a lot more

Deserves another crack but looked lost in the second half of the season and was found seriously wanting in terms of skill level required.

With injection of midfield class from draft and a trade or two I can't see him playing too many senior games next season.
