A problem for the dees in getting Wellingham is who would the pies really want from our side (that we were prepared to give up) now they have Lynch and probably don't need Martin? Is Petterd enough? Perhaps Petterd and a late pick?

He is only 24..Cool, i thought he was older.

A good solid buy in my book.

Moloney has really cooked himself if this comes off.

Do you need to mention Moloney in every thread WYL....Come on.....Get over it....

Petterd? i would say petterd and our pick 13 or 26

Petterd being of no value at all in this trade

yes. $70,000 is about what i earn!

That plus incentives is at least a lifeline.

There is no doubt Ricky is on the edge.

As are a lot of the 2012 list.

What about 13, 3rd rounder and Petterd for Dawes and Wellingham?

Doubt that it would get it across the line. If Viney goes to 2nd round though I would entertain pick #4 for the pair (with some minor adjustments here and their)

Would net us Toumpas, Welilngham, Dawes, Kennedy, Viney.....4 mids and a gorilla.

Or similar.

according to trade pages on Facebook freo not interested and West coast half hearted. Demons are reportedly firming hard for wellingham. Bloke who claims to know him on Facebook says our offer will be the best and if Dawes comes so will he.

Did Channel 7 news Just say collingwood wanted pick 4 for Dawes and Wellingham?

Want both, but not at that price.

Would be prepared to give them pick 13/14, Martin and a swap of 3rd round picks (assuming Viney makes it through to the 2nd round), but pick 4 should definitely be off the table.

There's still hope for those who want him..

"Mark Stevens@StevoHeraldSun

Strong mail now that WC only lukewarm at best on Wellingham. Won't be Freo either. Coll or Melb I reckon"

Shorly collingwood won't give up Wellingham and Dawes for just pick 14, I think maten might be in the mix with the pick.

If this does happen that would be great.

Collingwood may not have much choice, they have to drop some players as their cap is to small and these are two players who they have targetted to trade/dump. What other clubs have the salary cap room and what would they be prepared to pay them to get them to come across and lastly what would they give Collingwood that collingwood wants to get them. Not too many options available to collingwood, spending money like drunken sailors nuying players looks to be coming back to bite them.... I hope so at least...

2024 Player Reviews: #35 Harry Petty

Failed to fulfill the promise of his breakout six goal effort against the Tigers in 2023 and was generally disappointing as a key forward. It remains to be seen whether Simon Goodwin will persevere with him in attack or return him to the backline where he was an important cog in the club’s 2021 premiership success. After a bright start to the season, playing mostly in defence, Howes seemed to lose his way in midseason but fought back with some good performances at Casey and finished the year back at AFL level. 2024 Player Reviews: #33 Tom Fullarton

Originally an NBL basketballer with the Brisbane Bullets, he moved across town in 2019 to the AFL Lions where he played 19 games before crossing to Melbourne where he was expected to fill a role as a back up ruckman/key forward. Unfortunately, didn’t quite get there although he did finish equal sixth in Casey’s best and fairest award. Date of Birth: 23 February 1999 Height: 198cm Games CDFC: 14 Goals CDFL: 13

Sadly, had to wrap up a great career in midstream on the back of multiple concussions which culminated in the Maynard hit in the 2023 Qualifying Final. His loss to the club was inestimable over and above his on field talent given his character and leadership qualities, all of which have been sorely missed. The son of former Demon Brownlow Medalist Shane, Taj added a further 16 games to his overall tally of games but a number were as substitute. He is slowly fitting into the team structure but without doing anything spectacular and needs to take further steps forward in 2025 for his career to progress. SLIP SLIDING AWAY by Meggs

It was a sweaty, slippery night at Cazalys Stadium, a tough slog with low scoring and missed opportunities.  The Hokball Hawks hung on to win by a goal and sit second on the ladder, relegating the disappointed Demons to, almost certainly, finals spectators.   We had to win this match. When news broke of late withdrawals of talisman Kate Hore and key back Gaby Colvin, expectations plummeted, and Demon fans despaired.  The bad news was the signature song of 2024, a season that’s
