They have a blatant agenda towards us.

Its a joke.

Tanking, tanking, for Christ's sakes.

I cannot stand Healy, Roos and MS driving this campaign against us,

something nearly has to be done.

And don't get me started on Robbo!

What were they harping on about tonight?

I've completely given up on watching these tabloid shows. Not only do they provide nothing of interest but more often than not their opinions are completely baseless.

Tonight they 3 clowns (Roos, Healy and Mike) had Adrian Anderson on and they made

sure they brang up tanking, showed Brock, etc.

If it was up to the 3 stooges, they would've pushed their agenda all show.

I don't know what Melbourne done to Healy, but he is a snake in the grass,

he has a massive gripe towards the club.

Gerard always hit me as the kind of bloke who would do something awful to you, then find a way to make out it was your fault.

Same with him and MFC.

On "Open Mike", Sheahan was probing Martin Pike about his time at Melbourne and whether it was the clubs fault that he left.

Pike rightfully acknowledged it was his drinking and partying problem but Sheahan was trying his best to put us in a bad light.

he then went to Fitzroy. Brisbane didn't take him in the 11 players they got when the roys folded supposedly because of concerns of off field issues

he then went to North who then traded him to Brisbane because of off field issues

and Sheahan singles out MFC. He knew the history. What a disingenuous weasel

All three of the clowns tried hard to put words into Anderson's mouth, but at least he had the smarts not to take the bait (unlike McLean). In closing the interview, Healy sarcastically said something about the tanking report coming out on Christmas day (implying that its release will be timed to minimise publicity).

Sheahan barracks for Melbourne, maybe he's just a [censored] off supporter like l am. I'm not far from pushing MFC to the back of my mind, it's hard when you've loved a club all your life but they are just absolutely pathetic at the moment.

But unlike Sheahan you wouldn't put the boots into us at every opportunity. Also, even being frustrated you would not as Sheahan did, label the entire club " disgusting and pathetic". I have said before I will never forgive him for that comment and I wait for the moment we meet, when I can let him know my anger personally.

I think he has absolutely zero allegiance to the Melbourne football club.

I agree with the rest of what you've said.

Mike Sheehan jumped the shark as a journo the night he accepted without question Maclean's statement that he left the Dees because we had tanked.Did not ask Brock about the more lucrative and longer contract being offered by Carlton or the irony of his destination given his professed distaste for tanking.

That was [censored] poor by MS. McLean has given three or four explanations for leaving and MS would have known of the earlier stuff but has chosen to ignore it (or he IS that dumb).

As for their efforts last night with Anderson, they were just pumping up their own tyres. They have a vested interest now in bringing us some hurt so it will make them look like major players.

Such major players that went to air four and a half hours after the Jurrah story broke and they still did not have it.

I've stopped watching OTC. The content is hardly interesting or inspiring because it's usually interviewee's that are easily manipulated by the hosts or, people who make them drool like little girls. On top of that, the pricks infuriate me with their attack on this club. So, it's much easier just to turn off and have a good nights sleep.

'Open Mike' will be the next to lose me as a viewer. Seriously I was thinking of Martin Pike head-butting Sheahan last night when he was quizzed about an incident in Brisbane.

Gerard Whately is a standout on Fox Footy and in my opinion surrounded by c-heads.

It's probably the only thing he'll have gotten right about the whole thing..lol

Caro came out last night and said "when are the AFL going to finish their inquiry into Melbourne tanking".

I guess she is saying that because it was McLean who raised it but seriously the inquiry needs to cover everything that has been done in the last decade from Carlton, Freo etc if it is to be relevant.

The media are pathetic yet again with this stuff. If you're gonna raise it then raise it all.

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi
