Not bad, that's only 12 players out.

For heaven's sake, can't someone at the club change Jurrah to say 3-5 weeks or 1-3 weeks, just to stop the monotony?

Why not 1 - 10 weeks and then they should just about have all bases covered.

TMac, perfect timing for Davis too have a stint, 2 weeks would be a good initiation for the lad. Or 2 for Cook.

Liam Jurrah, 224, the new version of Nick 426 Smith.

Anyone able to confirm how many weeks Jurrah has been 2-4 weeks. Is it 5?

I think it is now 6

7 weeks since the injury ( swans game )

funny the way the thought process works

In my mind he is 2013 ( NT providing )

Past experience has shown he takes forever to get over injuries

So when 2- 4 weeks appeared I thought 10 weeks.

A calf strain for an older bloke (Jamar) is not usually just a one week injury. Of course, his might not be a strain. It could be...er, what else could it be if it's his calf? I suppose it could be a corked calf, although it's not an injury I can recall ever being talked about before.

I have a feeling it could be to just let him focus on his case, keep out of the spotlight etc.

Anyone see if Green was in full training this morning by the way?

LJ was was running fine last week at training (thurs) was doing lap after lap in the rehab group.

Running straight lines (around an oval...) compared to the old twist and turn of full training/games can see different results and pain points in the ankle.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
