Please try hard to find some players to give your votes to – voting starts on the final bell or whenever you smash your tv.

Votes to be given on a 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 basis

Yeah well maybe there was possibly one or two....nah forget it!

The side just sucks you dry.

We should suspend the voting after pizzpoor efforts like that.

Now that I've had a bath, a stiff drink and a wind down:

6 - Watts. Don't care if people think he had an easy role; he took marks and used the ball well. 34 touches is a good effort no matter what. How about a midfield role?

5 - Jones. Has stepped it up a level this year. Grateful that we've got him at the moment.

4 - Blease. Showed everything we'd hoped. Got plenty of the ball, used it well, used his pace to good effect and seemed to last the match out. He was one of the very few true positives to take away from the game.

3 - Rivers. Thought he was the best of the talls in the back line. 71 inside 50s to our 35 - holy moly. I don't think we appreciate enough how under the pump these guys are. I reckon all of our defenders are being made to look much worse than they are because they are under the pump all the time.

2 - Magner. Tackling machine. Would like to see him get more of the ball ala his first few games; don't know what role he's being asked to play though.

1 - Garland. I struggled immensely with this last one - just thought he looked okay where many didn't. Might've also gone McKenzie for nothing else other than effort.

Those who have given Howe a 1 are generous. The mark was a 10/10 no doubt (how about the hang time!?), but the rest of his game was complete garbage other than that, including the 5 seconds after the mark.

The only reason he's getting one is for the mark, it was a [censored] to do beyond the 4 votes.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

A couple of intrepid Demonland Trackwatchers headed down to Gosch's Paddock for the midweek Preseason Training Session to bring you the following observations. Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
