I would give him the 3 games he needs for 250 even if one or two as sub. He has given us plenty. He deserves his place this week with 6 goals and BOG for Casey anyway.

I agree he most certainly deserves to be able to attain 250. His journey is nearly over but hes not there yet.

slap him on 100k a year.

him being on the vets list reduces the need to move him on as he isn't taking up an official spot on the list. Let him retire when he is ready i say.

He is a champ, even at this stage of his career he is still putting his body on the line.

I have a gut feeling there are two basic elements to Brads continuance ( or otherwise) . One may simply be of his own calling. Time Gentlemen please etc.

and/or how many players the club actually thinks ( or will ) replenish come EOS.

There will be considerably more communication this time round id say.

But irrepsective... keep him around to show some of these idiots how to kick a ball ffs.

Let the Cook have the Kitchen, it's time to let him dishup his fare.

Give Brad his 250 + a send off at the end.

Yep we are sooo overloaded with senior players. Juniors sacking was a disgrace and has cost us dearly in terms of culture and stability.

Sorry Jnr but I remember watching Junior massacre the ball for more than a 100 games before he came good - the playing group needed destabilising.

The culture is on the improve ,and the reality about Jnr is that we made the right decision-100%.

On field leadership is beginning to emerge from guys like Tappy and Tom Mc. We've been an old boys club for way too long mate.He can always go back to Old Xavs if he hates our club . Or he can coach up in Sh!teville when he's finished. No point in looking back .

Played 248 games over 13 seasons.

Will play enough games to get his deserved 250 games. He will retire at year end

He should be celebrated by all.

Absolute class act at the end of his career.

Totally agree with you Rhino......

Green was far and away our best forward on Saturday. He won't limp to 250 games just on sympathy with that sort of contribution. He'll earn it.

Agree. It wasn't exactly vintage Green, but he played his guts out and was a scoring threat. It was a very pleasing effort and I'm looking forward to seeing him get to 250.

    GOLDIE'S METTLE by Meggs

On a perfect night for football at the home of the Redlegs, Norwood Oval, it was the visiting underdogs Melbourne who led all night and hung on to prevail in a 2-point nail-biter. In the previous round St Kilda had made it a tough physical game to help restrict Adelaide from scoring and so Mick Stinear set a similar strategy for his team. To win it would require every player to do their bit on the field plus a little bit of luck.  Fifty game milestoner Sinead Goldrick epitomised

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play
