Can it get any worse for our club? I can't believe the growing amount of issues, news, sadness that is seemingly sending the club towards self-destruction.

Hate to raise all the negatives, but this is my list of recent events:

At least when you truly hit rock bottom, the only way is up.

As hard as the last few weeks and months have been, we will continue to support the club and if the day comes when we do secure that elusive 13th premiership, it will be all the more sweeter!

I honestly couldn't agree more. I don't think any footy club could ever have been through more in a 2 year period than us even the clubs that are dead like fitzroy. Absolutely rock bottom!! Couldn't be more ashamed of barracking for this club. Absolutely disgusted!

Well, I am ashamed of you, if you are disgusted by what has just happened.

Living up to your principles, even if it costs you, especially if it costs you, is to be valued and not disgusted.

To be honest the MFC doesn't need fair weather supporters like you. If

You are ashamed, you don't need to be here. This is not the time to sook and play victim. This is the time to stick with the MFC. They need supporters to be more dedicated and supportive than ever. They have dealt with all situations listed better than any of the other AFL clubs and the league itself.

For the first time ever we are debt free with a $6 million asset base. Is it all perfect? No. Do you think we should just pack up the club? No way.

Now is the time go hard and dip in again for the dees. After all this is OUR club. No one can take away the passion and heart and soul of the club no matter what. We will survive and we will succeed. OUR club doesn't need spineless supporters and players and the fact you pretend to be a Melbourne person is insulting.

If you want to be ashamed go barrack for someone else. It's not easy and anyone who sticks with the club now truly does have a heart that beats true for the red and blue.

I suspect St Kilda supporters could generate a bigger list than this one without even trying too hard. And Richmond supporters, starting with lack of finals footy. In short, all clubs have dark days. It's how you deal with these things that matter. In my view, MFC has dealt with most of them very well.

I'm not ashamed, my heart beats true.

Here we go another [censored] on here having a dig at another supporter for having an opinion and expressing it. You guys have no right to call yourselves Melbourne supporters and pass judgement on what a true supporter is etc. I clearly don't measure up despite the fact I've been to every game in Vic for 3 years, been a loyal member contributed to debt demolition, fob in a demon etc etc. I have every right to be ashamed and disgusted by this footy club for the list of reasons in the OP. I don't know if you've read the comments by the energy watch CEO but maybe you're too ignorant to do so before attacking someone else. It doesn't matter what we do from here, we signed this Fu...rs company as our MAJOR SPONSOR. The company is a dead set disgrace in many ways and we thought they were good enough to sign and promote. I'm sorry but anyone who doesn't think this is rock bottom is delusional. We as supporters have done enough and can do no more. It's time for this club to stand up and make it happen now if they wish to survive

And to clarify I'm not just ashamed about the energy watch saga but all those other issues especially the tanking, the on field performance, the lack of senior player leadership and most of all the way our supporters attack one another.

I was telling it to a bunch of smug Lions supporters in the MCC last week. I know I wouldnt be smiling if my club folded and i then got to see a bastardised ineterstate version of them a couple of times a year at the G

You are confused, Gotzy.

And I can do more as a supporter when times get tough out of our control, hell I just did this morning.

You have nothing to be ashamed about this morning.

Your club stood up for something more important than $2m - itself.

You forgot the blazer criticism! :-)

And Gotzy15, seriously................you need to pull yourself togther............ashamed of the club????

This club and its supporters have dragged the club up off the canvas, and are setting about building a strong future.

Sure, we are taking a few more hits now, but toughen up, and roll with the punches!

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
