Akermanis is a dirtbag who has done nothing in his life other than self promotion; I wouldn't waste a second of my life reading what this [censored] has to say.

I wasn't ever one that was against Jason speaking his mind... But this time he's lost it and lost all respect from me. How someone could come out and attack Jimmy is beyond me. And how a man who played so much football can't understand the difference between the white line fever of how someone acts on the pitch to his actions off it astounds me.

Just a blatant attempt to keep himself relevant. Stopped giving a toss about what he thought ages ago - I used to think he called it as he saw it, but came to realise he just called it whatever way would create the best headline.

Edit: Looks like RobbieF beat me to the punch to say exactly the same thing. Completely agree Robbie.

he has surely lost the plot,

id suggest to jason to leave victoria and find a remote shack in the middle of the simpson desert to crawl in and die

Good one Jason.

You shat in every nest you were ever in.

Crawl back under your rock & leave decent people alone.

I think we need to find out any company he still writes oppinions for or gets on their radio station to give his oppinions and write to them demanding his sacking!

Akermanis is looking after himself, funny this was his debut for this station and it probably wouldnt hurt his hip pocket promoting himself and the upcoming series Celebrity Apprentice.

He's a rat. And if he's after a reaction, he may succeed. Let's not give him the time of day.

This is actually just a reflection on the pitiful character that is Jason Akermanis. It is not in any way a reflection on Jimmy, nor will it be seen that way.

It's perfectly obvious to me that he either has such an out of control ego (but I do good things, why don't they worship me?) or he was unloved as a child and has unresolved issues which means he cannot understand the world like most happy and contented people.

It's kind of sad. More pathetic than sad, actually.

While we do not agree with the (typically) Aker comments, please avoid the derogatory name calling.

Preferably dont add to his quest for publicity.

Only Akermanis would say something that offensive and that inappropriate about some who has just passed away.

Congratulations Jason, you've once again shown how much you love attention even if it's negative. Just like a child.

I just left a nice old welcome note in the comments section at the end of the story. I'm tipping it won't get past the editor though!

My My...Jason certainly has a vendetta doesn't he.

As a kid who came from a poor background i thought he would have loved and respected Jimmy's work.

How wrong was i.

Keep it shut Jason...or else dig your own hole.

Your choice.

Please forgive Jason he is suffering from RDD - relevance deficit disorder

Something about you Akermanis that makes me more than a little uncomfortable. Revulsion and disgust probably describes my feelings towards you. Jimmy represented the best things about humanity and you represent the worst.

That makes me feel "a little uncomfortable".

Even if you don't agree with the public reaction to the past couple of days, why would anyone start bad mouthing so soon after his passing, surely even someone as dim-witted as Acker can understand what a grieving period is. The funeral hasn't even happened yet.

Why would the Herald Sun even publish this tripe?

Three guesses.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
