The terms 'flatters to deceive' was invented for sportsmen like Sylvia.To my mind his bad habits are now too far gone to break and we would do well to trade him and get something of genuine value while we can.

Fortunately there was someone at the club with more sense than this! And it was resolved before the season closed.....

Great news .... As far as I'm concerned this is a more important signing than TS at this point in time. People on here that don't rate Colin and suggest he is slow have absolutely 0% of an idea.

No one really says he CANT play...its whether he comes to play, and then whether he plays all day.

Quite honestly one of the most frustrating players on our list.

Well the club and he have sorted something. Hopefully he'll earn the money. Happy if he does.

We'll see.

According to the MFC website, he was so happy about the new Contract, rather than SIGNING it, he SANG it...!

Very happy we signed him our best player !

If it means that he's now going to start to play like he's our best player, it'll be worth it.

Happy news.

I've come to terms with the fact that Sylvia will never be consistent enough to be a true a star, but as our side becomes stronger I expect his ability to tear a game open will be great "icing" and I'd rather have him in our side than not.

Here's hoping he can continue to bridge the gap between his best and worst.

    Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force for training at Gosch's Paddock on Wednesday morning for the MFC's School Holidays Open Training Session. DEMONLAND'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS REHAB: TMac, Chandler, McVee, Tholstrup, Brown, Spargo Brown might have passed his fitness test as he’s back out with the main group.  Sparrow not present.     Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on.     There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training.     A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
