I've been a member for the last 10 years with this man, I feel his pain, but don't stress it to this extreme.

I guess it's an interesting question. How mad can you get at a game of football?

I secretly filmed him during the Richmond game we couldn't get to last week...

Hahahahahaha that was amazing.

Poor soul, I feel his pain. Was he yelling at them to man up?! Epic!

yep, it was the no pressure corralling and the fact we where about to lose to Richmond that set him off.

Mind you he was like this during the Carlton game as well. And many many more of course haha

Looks like me most weeks frustrated to hell

I don't get that bad. For me, I have far more important and stressful things in my life (not to say you all don't) and I'm just someone that can shake my head and walk away because at the end of the day it's just a game.

But yeah, I am deeply frustrated at this club now. I will not stand for another 50 years without a flag. I won't put up with that. Call me fickle, but there's only so much you're willing to commit. I can dedicate my time elsewhere if the club doesn't perform with this rebuild. This is their last chance for me.

Beat me to it DOF. The wife has seen those moments although the arrival of children has seen it somewhat tempered for fear of her wrath should I wake them from slumber..... Or the boy starts copying me!!!

Ha! This is exactly what I do! I can't control myself, bashing the bejesus out of the couch with the remote... or the volume of my voice.

When I'm at the ground though I am usually just in stunned silence. You know the worst possible result is coming. It's inevitable....but you don't want to show your pain to opposition supporters.

Aaaah football. :wub::mad:

I showed this to my dad and he said to me "you know you're just as bad and some days I'm actually embarrassed to be seating next to you at the footy".

A crazed fan not even a father could love :(

I had a full 15 of my friends tell me to pipe down about the rubbish I was watching in the first Carlton game this year. One of them even told me to 'appreciate' Matty Warnock.

Worse, she was a Melbourne supporter!

HaHaHa! that video is epic....you really should send it to the club so they "really understand" the serious pain we go through.

I felt like that in the first Wet Coke game this year, before this website went into meltdown!! That sort of calmed me down a bit.

We need a top line Coach NOW...the learner bit is over.

Enjoy them jaded no matter what, time passes very quickly.

my dad is long gone but I enjoyed those days with dad more than any since in spite of the results.

Early days were trips from the country.

Then he would come to melbourne to go with me.

Time moves on and now I go with a couple of friends most weeks but it is never the same.

Yep send it to the club, I thought I was bad but good to see others get frustrated.

MY brother literally picked up my TV once fortunately the window was closed.

+1

I used to be very much like this poor man. It weas getting bad for my health and sanity. However i learnt a lot over the last 5 years about the goings on at our club being out of my control and unable to meet my standards.

Not to say im still not passionate and involved, i just deal with the failure and frustration differently these days.

WOW.

I find it hard to understand how anyone can react like that.

I'm passionate and I'd often love to be out there, feeling like I'd run through walls to win the match... but I don't act like a spoilt child.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
