as they stand now Nic Nat is a FAR better player. But what If Jack Watts went to West Coast? Would he better than he is now? And if Nic Nat played for us would he have learnt the game as well? that's the real question I think.

Matty looked out of his depth in his few AFL games this year, that's why he kept getting dropped. people are getting way to excited about his currency here. if we can bottle a decent pick with him for a handy mid it will be a win.

I've been a member for the last 10 years with this man, I feel his pain, but don't stress it to this extreme. I guess it's an interesting question. How mad can you get at a game of football? I secretly filmed him during the Richmond game we couldn't get to last week...

in 2005 we had a team that had played in Finals the year before and we weren't a team of kids. and there's also the fact the we really really suck.

i'm sure a lot of you probably have a story about meeting Dean, here's mine. It was pre season, about a month before the Nab cup. I was working at a music retailer and he came in with his son to purchase a guitar amp. I helped them with their choice and got the chance to talk to Dean in a non football environment. He was open and honest about the players and gave me some inside tips regarded Howe and some other players that where going to make an impact this year. We talked about the tattooson my arms, and I told him I was waiting for the day I could see the Dee's win a flag to get a tatt to mark the occasion. with confidence he told me to save room for a few! haha It was clear he was passionate about the playing group and where they where heading, in hindsight maybe he had a little too much confidence in the younger players development this year. I understand the decision to let him go on all levels, but the fact is being the head coach of any developing/re building club is a death sentence. time will tell, though I think he was the right man for the job for 2008 to 2011. time for a surly [censored] who won't except anything but 100% disciplined. the honeymoons over kids. anyone else got a meeting Dean Bailey story? Now that his gone lets not focus on the negatives, lets remember the good times.

na I really don't think so, just a thought. I'd love an experienced coach but my fears are we can't land one. Who would want to risk it? If Viney does well in the last few games the media will love him.

my 2 cents... Pretty scrappy game early had me worried, but by the second half they found their feet. Howie has a leap but lets hope his not the next Newton. Spencer has filled right out and looks good, if he could kick straight at goal he good be a real weapon. Cale has filled out a bit as well, not sure if it suits him. He was screaming for the ball alot but didn't get to much love. He still knows how to find space. Scully running as good as last year, still needs to hit the target better though. Dunn has become a real leader. By example as well as being very vocal. Shouting guys into position. You can see they all really respect him. Bartman was slick. If he stays healthy will have a great year. Brent got stuck on the [censored] side early but came good. Rivers was brave as always. Watts kept getting the ball. Looks grown up and one of the lads now. Kicked a few goals. This is the year he'll start to be judged fairly. Here are a few pics I took. So they've suffered their first 2 looses of the season to the two teams they conversationally let star players go to for nothing. Both we're dropped cold for other options after being standouts for their clubs. take the karma Voss!

I went for the $20 a month debit plan this time round. With the money I would have normally spent up front I bought a new jersey & a few sets of Christmas cards, there so corny that there awesome. This plan also means you don't have to worry about renewing because when your initial 12 months is up it just automatically renews with the next months payment. A way better debit than my car insurance every month!

I agree. I think he is an over rated player but still would be better than most on our list & still has at least 3 - 4 years left in him. We could do a lot worse.

Looks like he'll be in PSD trying to get to Freo. He'll head there tomorrow to train with them. They reported that he was only 26 on SEN but I just checked his birth date 6/10/1982 on the bombers site. Any chance?
