Opening ceremony of the olympics all over again!

At game. This is fun. I brought a heart. Therefore I can prove there is a red and blue heart here. Just one. Jurrah, Maric, Watts behind the ball. Not that it matters. Bugger em all. Honestly.

How can we be this bad really? We have been rebuilding for 4 years!

Just how long will the non die hard supporters stick fat for? you can almost forgive people for dropping off this disgrace of a club. We wont win premierships.

Opening ceremony of the olympics all over again!

The instruction would have been to absolutely blow us out of the water early so they can coast for the rest of the game. It won't be as bad as that horrible night, the margin will well and truly flatter us at the end.

Pathetic leadership once again shown by Green and Moloney.

All I can do is just laugh.

Jurrah on Bartel, then playing defence. Then Bailey panics again and watts playing loose down back. All year I have been defending Bailey, his last chance is next week. Not expecting to beat Geelong or Carlton, but this is just a joke. It's an embarrassment.

Are there any good Movies out at the moment?

3 fricken points in a bloody quarter that's it the side doesn't put they have no respect for the club or jumper

they are pathetic, listless and don't deserve to play AFL.

The are all pea hearts

come on mate, its ok to be upset about this performance, but im pretty sure the players do respect the club and jumper.

It's funny, we had about a 3-4min period where we were in control of the ball and every time we put it in there it was terrible delivery, then it goes straight up their end and they score a goal with little worry. From there it was an avalanche, this is the worst display i have every seen under Bailey.

Can't listen to this anymore, as soon as a team is performing so badly that the commentary just mocks the opposition, i lose interest.

Was anybody game enough to listen to K-Rock today?

Why would you listen to K Rock? Sadism at it's finest

That goal sums us up. Tapscott doesn't follow to the goalsquare handball enough. Rivers doesn't go hard at the ball and they get another easy goal

LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! It’s Indigenous Round for this game and the chance to celebrate and engage with Aboriginal and Torres

2024 Player Reviews: #35 Harry Petty

Failed to fulfill the promise of his breakout six goal effort against the Tigers in 2023 and was generally disappointing as a key forward. It remains to be seen whether Simon Goodwin will persevere with him in attack or return him to the backline where he was an important cog in the club’s 2021 premiership success. After a bright start to the season, playing mostly in defence, Howes seemed to lose his way in midseason but fought back with some good performances at Casey and finished the year back at AFL level. Originally an NBL basketballer with the Brisbane Bullets, he moved across town in 2019 to the AFL Lions where he played 19 games before crossing to Melbourne where he was expected to fill a role as a back up ruckman/key forward. Sadly, had to wrap up a great career in midstream on the back of multiple concussions which culminated in the Maynard hit in the 2023 Qualifying Final. His loss to the club was inestimable over and above his on field talent given his character and leadership qualities, all of which have been sorely missed. The son of former Demon Brownlow Medalist Shane, Taj added a further 16 games to his overall tally of games but a number were as substitute. He is slowly fitting into the team structure but without doing anything spectacular and needs to take further steps forward in 2025 for his career to progress.
