I don't get how you can give Jones 6 votes when he continuously turned it over and cost us dearly. Plus his tackling sucks.

6- Martin

5- Frawley (the most perfect kicking game I've seen in a while)

4- Davey

3- Jetta (underrated for his hardness)

2- Jurrah

1- Maric

Just got home.

Fair to say if Frawley isn't in your Top 2, you weren't at the game.

Agreed, he is an absolute gun and set up nearly all of our meaningful attacks from half back.

How insanely good was his disposal today?! I LOVE HIM! If he gets injured like the rest of the list I'll just about call it quits on this season.

6 - Frawley

5 - Tapscott

I really have no idea who comes next.

4 - Martin (I thought he wasn't that good but there's no one else really)

3 - Maric

2 - Bail

1 - Garland (both Bail and Garland, IMO, gave us more effort and skill when they were on than most others did).

People with Jones in their votes need to consider the incredible amount of turnovers he created. Jetta was not hard, he was slow and ineffective.

6 - Frawley: back to his best.

5 - Sylvia: would be close to AA if he had a bit more support. Playing really well IMO.

4 - Newton: Unbelievable first quarter. Average after that but tried hard.

3 - Martin: beaten, but couldn't have given much more than what he did. Encouraging.

2 - Watts: decision making is first class, what position will he end up though?

1 - Warnock: "Encouragement Award". i.e. not a convincing performance, but was solid enough.

He played on Aaron Edwards. All you people praising him are not watching the game.

No offence buddy but you have NFI. Dunn was on him for the majority of the game.

Very disappointing today. Very few 4 quarter efforts, and our depth was sorely tested (as it will be for the next month or so). Maybe time to seriously consider Evans. His game for Casey tomorrow will be important from this perspective.

6: Frawley

5: Martin

4: Warnock

3: Watts

2: Newton

1: Sylvia

I didn't watch but here is our top 6 based on supercoach points. Naturally, these votes will not count no doubt.

6. Martin - 125 points

5. Sylvia - 114 points

4. Davey - 109 points

3. Newton (!) - 106 points

2. Watts - 105 points (his highest score this year)

1. Frawley - 98 points

I am mostly posting this as a comparison to how everybody else in this thread voted.

Pot calling the kettle black! Jones was more effective than Tapscott. His worst game for Melbourne today. Hardly got it and when he did couldnt hit the side of a barn.. Bennell would be in my votes first.

I thought Tapscott's attack on the ball was good. But I think I may have put him too high in the votes. Suffice to say, I rated Frawley, and that's really about it.

Interesting. I think that's the right list of names in the wrong order.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    TURNAROUND by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons won their first game at home this year in the traditional King’s Birthday Weekend clash with Collingwood VFL on Sunday in a dramatic turnaround on recent form that breathed new life into the beleaguered club’s season. The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
