Ill get howled down for this but the only way we can show our disgust is a mass protest next week. That protest being not turning up to the game next week. Why would we want to watch that rubbish anyway.

do the protesting during the week, it will get fixed sooner.

I think the comments at half time really explain where Bailey is at. "We still have 60 minutes of football". Apart from about 5 minutes late in the second quarter, they have been smashed. They have no gameplan. They have no heart. They have no respect for Bailey. It is all well and good being a "teacher" of men. And being positive. How about you go and tell the players some home truths. How is Cale Morton getting a game? Unless Jamie Bennell has photos of Bailey in a compromising position, how is he getting a game? For Melbourne to get beaten by about 10 goals by West Coast is unacceptable. I get don't throw the baby out with the bath water, but Bailey can't coach. Fact. Why take a player who kicks 60 odd goals from half forward and put him in the midfield? Why is Petterd not playing? I would rather habe Bate even, than Dunn. Players should be earning their spot on a week to week basis, not on reputation. Davey = most overrated player in the comp. Bailey = Dead Man Walking

Lol at the Bennell comment.

I'm done. I can't back him any more.

After poor old Moloney got paraded in front of the media and had to apologize to every man and his dog for having a few drinks (as well as stand down from the leadership group), what should Bailey have to do this week? I will find it supremely hypocritical if he has another week of "doing nothing" and does not change something, speak out, take blame... anything!

If we treat a deputy leader the way we did Beamer, how should the head leader of football performance be treated this week?

Come on Melbourne, show some emotion for a change.

Negatives

No Fire

No Passion

No Pride

No Gameplan that works

No leadership

No forwards

No midfield

No Bloody Idea

NO Coach at least not one that can bring out allof the above from our players

Positives

Baring a Miracle this season is shot

End of year Baileys Gone and no pay out required

Blood asmany young players we can for the rest of the year

And Pray and I do mean Pray, we can land a half decent coach at Seasons end.

Most here make excuses for the coach and team

Well time for excuses are over always remember this game no matter what, happens in the future and lock it in as the day hopefully most supporters wake up to the fact Melbourne is still along long way away from playing finals football

I have supported the Melbourne Football Club since forever and always will, however the heartache remains that the only Grand Final I have ever seen Melbourne win was a Pre season Cup.

Ive shared the highs and the lows unfortunately more lows than highs

Can we turn it around ? One can only hope.

I just pray I am still around to see it happen

Maybe if Bailey was drunk he might be a better coach.

Yeh Jimmy the great man deserves so much better than this after what hes done. Imagine if every one of our 22 that ran out tonight showed some of his spirit and determination through our performance.

This thread is a classic. Although it needs more shouting and CAPS LOCKS !!1!!1!1!11

It's a long season kids. At this rate you'll be in hospital by the mid season break.

You're a cheer leader of anything red and blue, so come on Bob, cheer everyone up.

Maybe you can deliver the obvious on a couple of issues.

I hate reactionary garbage on Demonland but this game has really just done it for me.

There are no valid excuses for losing a game mentally, physically and statistically in the first 5 minutes of a match, against last year's wooden spooners no less.

B =Barely any semblance of passion or determination.

A =awful skills by foot and hand.

I =ill conceived game plan......if at all!

L =loss of personal respect throughout whole team.

E =essentially devoid of dedication and effort.

Y =yes, we are all enormously angry and embarrassed.

Do the honorable thing and walk!

Jimmy, it's time to make a strong statement, big fella.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
