This is his medicine??

And trial by media circus is "paying his dues to those he's upset"???

Its a strange world we live in.

Yep, I agree, but it's Not done with yet, & he's not so far given his pound of flesh,,, nor has he shown any genuine remorse.

For me he's got quite some way to go.

Whatever pound of flesh he needs to give or remorse he needs to show, doing so through this media storm is not the way either he or the girl should be heading.

I not sure what he needs to prove or show to you at all. He owes me nothing.

At the moment there are two individuals who through errors of their ways are now porns in a media witchhunt.

Its been amazing how many people are prepared to light a torch and mindlessly join the queue set by our wonderful free (cheap) press.

DAMMIT!

Will this story finally get its S51T together and come up with an explicit villian?

I was sure we had it when perennial arrogant [censored] Ricky Nixon got involved, but noooo this damn girl has to keep on being angry and visible and take pleasure in seeing the pain of people she hates.

Geez, girl who must not be named, would you get about being a proper victim already. This is clearly doing everyone's head in.

The whole thing hinges on key facts which are unlikely to ever be proven in public. In fact, even if every detail was somehow meticulously recorded, the facts would never cut through the vast fog of speculation and opinion built up on this.

It is possible that the girl is bordering on completely evil and the whole thing is some kind of vendetta against an ex-boyfriend.

It is possible that St Kilda, Ricky Nixon and various others have engaged in a vile campaign to silence and then discredit by defamation a victim of quite heinous treatment.

It is possible that SHUT THE HELL UP and let the people involved work on it, while the rest of us, the other clubs, the fans, and the players, try to focus on not creating environments where this kind of miserable saga gets a start.

I don't know what your talking about, re him, owing you something, nor does he owe me anything.

But I dislike him, for what he's done past, & what he's been doing re the footy & with this kid. Absolutely nothing to do with oweing. Everything to do with footy, our game, the peoples game. He's not done well at all, & it seems that others are about to extract something of Him. Go figure.

So what we're talking about on this forum, is footy connected, just like talking about Tom S, or about Bruce, or any other worthy of comment.

Wow. You'd be one of those psychologists that act to get deranged killers off a murder charge because their mum wouldn't buy them a sunny boy from the tuck shop.

It's blindingly obvious that this girl is devious, calculating, manipulative and smart. Her tweet ‘‘This is it. It is now officially over. Ultimate pay back. Thanks HS.’’ says it all.

The stupidity of the adults in this saga is simply breathtaking but don't kid yourself for one minute she doesn't know exactly what she is doing.

SO now The AGE has seen footage of Nixon in his underwear in the girl's hotel room.

Wrong.

"Yesterday the girl showed The Age a video lasting a few seconds on her mobile phone of Nixon in his underwear kneeling on a bed and holding a television remote. It is not possible to see who shot the video or establish how it was obtained."

There is no linkage to where the video is shot and when the video was taken.

release the tapes Ricky ?

"LAST week the Herald Sun showed Ricky Nixon video and audio of him in hotel rooms. If Nixon has nothing to hide -- and he has denied he had sex with the "St Kilda Schoolgirl’’-- he should consent for the Herald Sun to release the audio and video tapes it has obtained." ( HeraldSun )

you can run but you cant hide..lol

lets just say he most certainly aint the Mesiah!!!

I cant believe how naive some of you are. The moral high ground is out of contol everest style. The silence from the AFL is deafening. Lets sack Fev for being drunk NYE but say nothing about the sleaze bags playing around with a child (very clever one I might add)

It's a massive set up - she effectively said so herself. But his stupidty is insane.

It is, your right, but can't you see through this, that this kid is so damaged, that she is now acting in this way. With the 'aints players & now with that manager.

Thats what we're talking about, that this 17 Yr old has completely lost her way. Now it may not have been initially caused by the footy players, nor by the way 'aints management treated her, nor by that managers treatment of her.

But, she was abused by the footy players, the footy management & legal eagles, & the foolish old man. And the AFL, itself. It's just no argument that the baby left on your doorstep wasn't your responsibility, so you plonk it out on the footpath for someone else to attend. Oh, wait, is that what happened?

This girl appeared, was taken in, abused, & ushered out. No wonder she's so scorned.

Kama's a [censored]!

* It is now up to the AFL to show real leadership here, instead of hiding behind that invisable curtain they have when they want it.

Vlad, step up mate & be seen to act on behalf of this Kid, in honour of Jill.

The role of the player manager is to get the best deal for their players as opposed to our perception of them - "holding the clubs to ransom". I listen to Liam Pickering who I find measured, not too big headed and does the best not to make himself more dislikeable than his profession already makes him.

Then you have Ricky Nixon who has craved the spotlight since day one has a highly inflated opinion of himself and has unwittingly ( because he is an F-wit) gone out of his way to be obnoxious.

I still havent forgiven him for the bake he gave us during the our search for our last coach. I cant quite remember who he was representing but we got down to the last three which included Bailey and Sheedy and maybe Connolly - and we had cut his candidate. He got on the radio and declared our process a sham and unprofessional and wanted us to stop the process and announce what everyone already knew - that Kevin Sheedy had the job. Right again Ricky !

He has done everything in his power to make himself disliked and I have little sympathy for anything that happens to him now.

Yep Ricky has walked right into a spiders web & is stuck right in the middle. The Herald Sun set the trap.

Vlad, step up mate & be seen to act on behalf of this Kid, in honour of Jill.

Not on behalf of Jill - on behalf of the kid.

We all have read exactly what she has done and have read what she has reportedly done as well. Does she know what she is doing ? Well she is doing it but can we not see that she is so in over her head that its not funny ?

I cannot get away from the fact that she is 17. This is not an excuse - it is an age where kids do stupid things. The maturity difference between 17 and 24 is ( well should be !) immense - let alone 47 ! There is a moral duty of care to this kid and to all children and make no mistake - she is a child - not to take advantage of her because she is star struck - blinded by the football celebrities.

I could drive a car at 13, I had a political opinion at 15 - but I couldnt legally drive or vote until I was 18. There are lots of things we can do at early ages - like give our bodies to footballers - but that doesnt mean we are emotionally ready to do it. Her behaviour is showing that she is ill equiped for the situation she has found herself in and she has found herself in this situation in no small measure thanks to footballers and a manager who should have acted towards her in a better manner.

Yep, spot on.

The AFL, must step up to help this Kid sort things out. If this goes tragic, the girl & others will suffer.

Step up Vlad. Come out from behind your cryptonite curtain.

The girl and the manager are chislers and scammers. They will keep rolling the dice till their luck runs out. These types all learn their tricks young and this girl is a lot more street smart than all of us put together and will easily twist blokes around her finger if she can get something from them. Even her parents are totally lost with her and disowned her by all reports. She's going to love all the help she gets because its going to be her meal ticket for a while. Can't wait to see what she gets up to in a few years time. As for him, he's now gonna play the I need help card too. But there will be a lot less sympathy for him because he's not as pretty.

Then, following last season, our vice captain (Bruce) leaves the club to go to the Hawks after a distinguished career for the MFC. I think he's managed by Nixon. Bruce's departure wreaks of short term thinking, even though he may suck out another year's AFL wages at the Hawks.

I don't see that it's a bad decision. Bruce will still be a MFC life member etc.

Nope, I feel dirty after reading this. Whilst some may shout "pyscho-babble" - look up the word sociopath ( or prior to 18 years old - conduct disorder.) Irrespective of labels - she has some severe issues which have been exacerbated by her treatment.

I would love to see what she gets up to in two years time because I have grave fears for her making it through the next two years.

Well you better get out there and help her. Do something positive. I save my grave fears for more deserving people.

This is a no-win situation for both the girl and for Nixon... although I do get the feeling she may have a career waiting for her with the A Current Affair team in a few years (and there is no pun intended). As much as we may dislike Nixon's persona and as much as we may accuse him of gross stupidity in this instance, I still can't help but feel some pity for him, as his whole life is unraveling in a very big way; he could end up losing absolutely everything.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
