we need everybody to rock up on sunday

We need a good crowd there on sunday so we won't have to be writing a cheque to the MCC. If we get over 20,000 then I think thats a profit. Anyway I believe we will win on sunday so we need to make some noise and show we are there supproting them.

Also if our president is there then that will be an inspiration in its self. Jim wants to be there on sunday. Personally I think he should be resting but thats how much he loves our club. The poor bloke had 5 tumours removed and all he can think about is his footy club and being there on sunday. That should inspire the players.

So get there and hope we see a win.

Hopefully the predicted poor weather doesn't keep too many away. It should be a good game, and we are a serious chance to get a win, so nobody should miss that!

Agree with that!!

Last year v Adelaide on a Sunday twilight was one of the most depressing games I have been to. I got caught in a lift with a group of Crows supporters who wouldn't stop gloating and the comment was made "They have less supporters than Port..It's unbelievable" That set me off!!

So let's get as many along as possible. Ithink 27,000 would be a good result. 30,000 would be great!!!

Don't you just love people who think they're good because they picked the club with the most supporters? Newsflash - it takes guts sticking with a team that not everyone at your school or workplace supports.

I was thinking this when walking into the game on Saturday.

I'll be there with my wife and 10 week old son... He needs to get use to the MCG, considering he will be the next MFC captain. Well he is a member so its a start, I signed him up at 5 days old :)

Its just so damn frustrating. Whenever its a home game against a low-drawing opposition, I don't need to look outside - I already know its going to be a cold wet day

We have the worst luck when it comes to weather on our home games

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
