Still 6 games to go, so take that into account.

Make your choice.

Moloney for me.

Doing the hard work and playing well each week, not quite Sam Mitchell stats, but doing a bloody good job for his first full season in forever.

Coaches would love his work.

This is my guess for the top 5

1. Moloney

2. Davey

3. Bruce

4. Warnock

5. Sylvia

Moloney definitely deserves it this year. He has been consistently good all year, leads the team in clearances, and has become a fantastic leader also.

Nothing like leaving out one of the MAIN CONTENDERS in the poll. Like an East Timor 'election'. Guess it gives YM the HOLLOW satisfaction that Cam did not poll one vote in his little communist style poll. You could be outraged yet again YM when Brucey makes it back to back wins. He could do it too as he is playing better footy this year than last. . Moloney could be a big chance too. Davey has faded over the last month although he would have been leading for the first half of the season. I guess the next 6 weeks will tell the tale.

i hope warnock gets up. he's the most consistent performer in our team at the moment and very underrated. i think bruce will win with beamer and aaron second and third

To be fair to YM bruce won it last year because he played in most if not all our games, Mclean should have won it by a mile! Having said that BAte and Petterd being in the pole is quite funnny....

I also think warnock will be right up there...

But beamer should win it and hopefully be named captain next year!

Did any one else see the warnambol leader. Had a big wrute up of the dees, Especially moloney

Think its hard to look past Aaron this year not just for his level of play but to acknowledge his leadership onthe field. As good a player as he's always been Davey has stepped up this year and deserves the Bluey for mine :)

TBTH, in another season where Bailey has been blooding youth and developing (ie short term pain), and the side is struggling with 3 wins - the same amount of wins as last year - H is right, who cares?

Fwiw, the poll is shot without C.Bruce in it.

I'm not 100% sure how the voting system works, however i think it favors a player that plays all games.

And based on the Demonland votes, Davey has it in the bag!

Try Burma

Actually you are being quite unfair. Bruce has been rewarded for his consistency and durability. McLean did not win it and its unfair that Bruce is maligned despite his achievement. I think Bruce will give it a shake again this year.

BTW, McLean has played nearly every game this year but will he win it by a mile this year? Oh that right he has been injured.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
