You show your usual wisdom in ignoring Moonie's crude insults od.

One who displays such discernment in the pleasures provided by the fruit of the vine could never be of the bogan class.

PS. Please address my complimentary case of the next vintage to The Manor at Romsey.

A case of irrigation red clean skins suit your tastes Uncle ?

I have an old Italian friend who makes it.

Very good paint stripper but also suitable for those  with unrefined palates or just an insatiable thirst. Would go down well with your bogan friends in the Manor Estate.

Hmm well that''s something, but not really given your privileged background and occupation.

All you see Red is your own idea of your self image and how you think others see you.  However, your own self image is entirely delusional. This suggests that as you see two reflective Reds, you are hiding a very low self esteem.   Others see you as you actually are. That is, one very flawed Red.

It may also suggest early signs of schizophrenia. Perhaps a visit to your analyst is in order.

If you don't have one, i can refer you to my regular list, although I'm sure you know a few, even within "the family"". Don't feel too bad as most posters on this site have their preferred trick cyclists..

You're getting deeper than Jacques Cousteau there Hem.

Time to lay off the Rum and bury yourself in romanticism .

Thanks Biff.

Just concerned about Red's delusional state. Most on this thread suffer the same malady without the public confession made by Red.

As for romanticism, it has been beaten out of me by publishers, ex-lovers, enemies disguised as friends, and my own crumbling state of mind .  Alcohol, medication and psychosis has not helped.

Firstly I didn’t have a privileged background. We were so poor that my parents couldn’t afford shoes for me and painted my feet black to look like I was wearing shoes. Often they couldn’t afford clothes for me and my father would let me borrow his cap so I could look out our window and people wouldn’t know I was naked. My only pet was a rock which I carried around.

I don’t think I am becoming schizophrenic but my reflection does. What does he know, he is always just shooting his mouth off.  Now if you talk to my shadow he is cool and we are on the same page.

He had it good, this doppelganger boy; he should have tried being 7 years old in North Sunshine in 1957 being sent to the local catholic school wearing nothing but lederhosen, a t shirt and a pair of underpants - home made to boot.

A big one for Mum and Dad and little ones for the kids?

You were ahead of your time. Small houses are de rigueur these days. Cardboard boxes are the next step and have many advantages. They are portable, fold up and you have no clutter and can accommodate the kittens.

For many people of the sub-continent this is luxury living.  On the streets of nasty, capitalistic, Melbourne, home of the real estate agent, land developer and marketing executive, they are becoming aspirational for many left out in the cold.

Oh yeah, marvellous Melbourne, the most liveable city in the world.

Lets hope our footy team keeps its soul.

Veteran Demonland Trackwatcher Kev Martin returned to the training track to bring you the following observations from Gosch's Paddock this morning. Beautiful morning for training. The dew has dried, out from AAMI, quiet chatting. Maysie does his heart symbol. 7 in rehab, Turner, Hore, Sestan, BBB, Petty, Spargo and Schache. All in runners. Melky weighted and change of angles work. Salem has his individual program. White cap (no contact), Howes, Woewodin and Sparrow

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th
