4 Turner - Underrated game I suspect. Nine intercepts and eight 1%ers, 3 contested marks, and what is this a goal assist? He must have been confused.

3 Windsor - it just felt right.

2 Langdon - really important two-way game given our style and the periods of stumbling. Some sublime near-invisible defensive decisions and efforts on the wing

1 Gawn - periods of dominance but not a whole dominant game. That said, Richmond tried to physically bully him and basically put a rotating rucking-tag on him all day, and all they got was to watch as Gawn had six more contested posessions than anyone else on the ground, three contested marks and equal most score involvements for the day too. Hmm, maybe I should bump him up a little?

Many who are unlucky to miss out. But the story of the game is evenness. Several players who weren't having a great day still did their work and made their contribution, which is particularly terrific to see from younger guys like Langford, Latrelle Pickett, and Taylor.

I almost want to give a vote to Bailey Laurie having a fun day out. Has he ever before finished a game feeling this good, I wonder? I never noticed before but he shows a lot of visible emotion for his teammates' successes and strains. It might be interesting to see what happens now - maybe there has been an emotional weight on him from being stuck as sub or in and out for so long?
