Would you describe it more as Kangaphant or Eleroo?

Depends if it us a forward facing pouch or rearward wombat-style.

Meanwhile the weather has shifted to favour ducks, so I guess Walker is in for a good half.

Carlton do seem to be stemming the bleeding in the third, but that coukd be a combination of the aquatic environment and some evener-upper free kicks.

This rain will test the ground out by Saturday

I’m looking at this rain and I just know I’ll be sitting in it come Saturday, reminiscent of the *first gather round game vs Essendon. The result will be different this time.

*the solitary bright side to torrential rain is no one can tell you’re crying 😭

Rachele could play for the all blacks

Good on Riewoldt for discussing how blatant that was and how it impacts the course of the game.

Umpires try not to insert yourself into the game, challenge level impossible.

Anyone have any inside gossip as to why ANB left us, now that the dust has settled.

he went home to sa with his wife and new born so she could be closer to her mum

He left us reluctantly. He loved the MFC, still does. His partner needed to be back home in SA and that’s the sole reason he left.

That’s not gossip. It’s simply the truth. The reason his partner needed to be back in SA is very personal and of a sensitive nature.

Bruh.. did ya see it? He kicked it exactly into the space where Thilthorpe should have gone before he even hit a lead. I thought it was brilliant.

Of course I saw it...brilliant kick.

.... not playing the %'s though.

Tex would have had a better chance of kicking it himself, even though outside 50 its the type of shot he makes.

What a sad representation of the Carlton cheer squad. Two floggers and a few small flags. I’m not bagging the cheer squad but the club surely could’ve done something to get more of them and their gear over there. Carlton is a large, wealthy club with many members, shame on them.

End of judgement. 🙃

According to a caller on Dan Gorringe’s podcast, the Carlton cheersquad had a fight to the death with each other in the carpark under the ‘G last weekend.

What you’re seeing is the weak stragglers who didn’t get caught in the fray.

As well as throwing it whenever he wants, the more Cripps dissents the more Downlow votes he gets.

Well, Carlton may have lost the game but, on the bright side, at least their fans who travelled to Adelaide got drenched.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
